The calming and healing of touch is priceless.
My best friend and second mother who passed away this year (8/2016) at 100 years old, had the pleasure of enjoying hand massages and foot rubs.
One day several
Jean O'Neil, at 100 yrs., 8/2016 (I'll miss you)
years ago, I stopped by to see Jean on one of my usual visits and she looked physically exhausted and ill. She said she didn't know what was wrong and she felt sick. I sat down across from her, picked up her feet, rest it on my lap, took off her socks, and proceeded to massage her feet gently, using the same massage strokes as in infant massage. As I was rubbing her feet, I could see her transforming immediately right before me. The light came back into her eyes, her energy returned and when I was finished, she threw her hands up, hugged me and said, "I'm going to make dinner." She instantly felt better as I followed her into the kitchen.
That's how fast massaging the bottom of the feet works. Touch in a gentle and caring way works wonders.
