Screen Shots with DropBox

I have seen different directions for creating a screen shot but they involve a lot of procedures. The simplest way of taking a screenshot is with DropBox if you have a PC. Dropbox comes part of my Microsoft apps. Make sure it's activated. The symbol for DropBox will show up along the bottom with all your other icons if it's activated.

All I do is press the keys CTRL and ALT together with one hand and press the Print Screen button with my other hand. I get a little notification from Dropbox and I know it's there. Now I go back to wherever I want to share it, usually here in WA Support LOL!. I right click my mouse and choose Paste when I have my mouse curser where it's supposed to be. The link to the screen shot appears. You send it, and the other person just has to click on it.

You can click on the link yourself too, to test how it looks. It works for me every time.

P.S.- I just discovered through another WA member...With Dropbox, you don't have to use the Control and Alt keys, just press the print screen button and go from there as described. My husband does not have Drop box activated, and the above works for him without it.

I just press prt sc and it works for me!

I bet it does. My husband does not even have Dropbox and he told me to use the Control and Alt keys and Print Screen, then the right click and paste. I activated Dropbox and then used his method. I will try leaving out the Control and Alt keys next time.

Yes, I tried it on my PC, I do not need the extra keys! Thanks!
