Ambassador badge
What a nice surprise, I haven't been on WA for a couple of days, and just now I check in and see that I have an Ambassador Badge waiting for me :) I have been feeling very tired lately, it's been a long summer. Now that we're heading into Fall, I hope I will feel the energy that always seems to accompany the cooler days, beautiful changing colours of the leaves and the scents of the changing season. I have so many goals that I intend to accomplish over the Fall and Winter months. I am almost finished my certification courses and intend to dive into the Bootcamp courses after that. Inbetween, I will of course be continuing to work on my website, writing Blogs and tweaking different areas of my site. There are many things that I need to get done before winter, like pressure washing our deck and giving it a fresh coat of finish, it's looking rather worn. I will be closing my Pet hotel on September 4th, after 23 years of hard work taking care of dogs and cats for others. The old building that houses my Pet Hotel, a former barn, needs a few tweaks too, a bit of paint here and there, a thorough cleaning, some minor repairs. We hope to place our property up for sale next year, provided we can find another property that will suit our future dreams. So to that goal, there will be lots of little home improvement jobs that will be done. I am hoping my website will pick up in traffic and begin generating income, aren't we all? For our next property, our goal and dream is to turn it into a B&B, so that in addition to a working website business, we can host people instead of dogs :) From all that I have learned here and am still learning, I would of course, create a website for our B & B too, I look forward to it. So many goals, so much work to do, but it will only be accomplished one step at a time. Retirement? What's that? Not for me.

I am not sure how many points I have to be at to reach Ambassador status, my badge may have been a glitch. Nevertheless, I've seen my numbers dropping very quickly the last couple of weeks, from being active in helping others here, especially the new comers. I enjoy helping others, especially when it's something that I struggled with previously but conquered it. I recently helped a friend on Facebook, who is also a personal friend and client, to figure out a problem she was having on her computer. She and I were both thrilled that I could walk her through it. I used to feel so inadequate when a problem, however small, developed while using computer technology.
Just continue to be active here: whether writing content or helping others and getting likes from your comments, and you will reach your goals both in your online business and with your rank.

thank you Tammi :) I may lose my Ambassador Badge, might have got it through a glitch? Regardless, my rank has risen from 1001 to 504 in a couple of weeks, mostly from helping others.

There were some major changes made in the ranking system; there a glitch, so, unfortunately, some people received an Ambassador badge who had not reached that status. I believe there are still correction taking place, but you can read Carson's latest post about the changes here: Ambassador Ranking 2017 Update: Pay-it-forward!
There has been a major upgrade in the ranking system, you can read all about it here Ambassador Ranking 2017 Update: Pay-it-forward! Because of that, there were some glitches, some stayed ambassador some didn't.

Congratulations on all your accomplishments so far! I see that you are closing your Pet Hotel after 23 years on Sept 4th. As I thought about this, your attitude to hard work, life and the lack of retirement, I imagined the Pet Hotel door as a swing door. It's closing in one sense, but in another sense it's swinging open straight away, opening up new and exciting opportunities for you. I can almost feel the excitement in your post about the future.
I have absolutely no doubt that you will be successful in each venture you take on!
