When the brain goes CLICK.
Don't you just love it when a plan comes together? I have been trying to figure out how to edit Youtube videos for a long time and it has always been way too complicated for me.
Then a few months back I came across Wondershare Filmora and it is so easy to use! Before I found Filmora it would take me a day just to do one short video... think about it, if you are too dumb to edit then you have to film it all in one shot right? Not easy!
Now I have figured out how to cut parts out and even to add music if I want to.
I am moving on now to the next cool thing.... using a green screen. I have ordered my green screen and I am so excited.
I have been trying to figure out how to superimpose me over a nice image... so like when my house it dirty as can be from these little critters (yes my kids) where can I film? And I don't want my crusty old couches in the video, I want a stunning room.
The answer is a green screen, you put it behind you and film then you take an image and put it behind you when you edit it.
Yes I am a newbie to this sort of thing, so if you are an oldie to video editing I must sound like a real dumbo... but this dumbo is getting cleverer as time goes on.
I can't wait to try this out!!
Watch this space, I might just be able to do some training on Filmora.... but it will be VERY basic stuff LOL

Thanks for sharing Lynne, is Wondershare Filmora free? I need to get used to look at me on video :)
Yes you can use it for free BUT the watermark is massive, it takes over a huge part of the screen. Screencastomatic also has a watermark, but it is a discreet little one on the side corner....
I couldn't get by with the free package for Filmora because of the watermark but I did manage to use it long enough to realize that I want it :) So I paid for it. I can't remember how much, but it was so reasonable. You can buy yearly or you can buy a once off. I bought the yearly one but looking back I should have just bought the forever package :)
I think the yearly was about $39 and the forever one about $59 or $69?
So it is not expensive at all. Give the free one a go to learn on and then decide. I am VERY happy with it.
Awesome Lynne! Thanks for sharing. I have exactly the same challenge (messy house). I use a blue wall as my background.... well.... I did on my test videos using screen-cast-o-matic. Haven't actually finished producing any videos yet. ;)
This is a great share Lynne. Saving. Anything that trains on creating You Tube videos is great news!
