Site Content? Nailed It!
When site content first came out I tried it for I think one article but the fact that I couldn't add images or have much functionality I didn't bother with it again... That is until I saw that we could now add images in site content.
So for the last 2 weeks I have been using site content and I am quite enjoying it. I like achieving things, so when I saw today that I am now Level 5/5 I was quite chuffed!
I am finding it quite nice to write my articles and save them here before publishing them but it is a bit of a pain having to them go into my Wordpress dashboard anyway to add my tags, categories, featured image, SEO info (meta title, description and keywords) and of course any html for my Google Adsense, affiliate banners, Youtube videos etc.
I have full confidence though that while I am writing this post that WA are busy working on it!

There is definitely of fine line between being a writing platform for web content, and being a website editor and we have to walk carefully along that line.
Say content is a writing platform and we are certainly going to be adding many of the features you mention above, but it is not a website editor as that will dilute the quality of the writing platform itself.
What we don't want to have his people consistently having to log into Wordpress "after the fact" to edit their content and SEO, so these are definitely going to be considerations for future updates and many of which we are early working on.
So glad you are enjoying SiteContent.
I totally get that Kyle :) And I am sure that you will be adding those features soon. I am enjoying it, I really liked getting my 5/5 level :)
You know they are Lynne! I can’t believe all the improvements they just made and can hardly wait for the next update!
Awesome, Lynne!! I'm looking for a Challenger. My "You have written more than 100% of WA members" streak has gone on way too long! Next month am guessing you will be the winner. :)
Haha I will nail you on that one, this doesn't even include my Kaboutjie content LOL and its been 2 weeks. I still can't believe the amount of content I manage to publish on my own.
I usually do my text part in it then move it over to WordPress for the Grammarly proofreading, images etc.
Thank you for sharing.
Yes I also do part in WA site content and then the rest in Wordpress but it kind defeats the point for me which is why I am so waiting for the new features!!

Hi Lynne,
I find Site Content a useful tool for setting and achieving goals, just a little more practical and helpful then the regular WP Site posting area. . I wish to see a little more on the "Tool Bar" at the top, such as color fonts, bold, some of the other things we have on Word and even on our Word Press site.
Like you said WA will improve this area as time goes by.
Thanks for your article.
Bill
Very true, it is kinda nice for the goals :)
