My Little Black Book - It Goes Everywhere With Me!
I know that a lot of people like to use their mobile or their computer to keep notes but I'm old school. I love writing out ideas and notes and this is something that I do all the time.
I am constantly coming up with new ideas for my blogs - for instance when I am researching keywords for a specific article I might come across loads of new ideas - yes I save them to keyword lists in Jaaxy but often new ideas will be sparked off too, so I jot them down in my book. When I am researching information for an article I always stumble across brilliant content ideas I want to look into. For this reason when I am working I have my little black book and a pencil next to me.
When I am out and about I might have a conversation with someone and suddenly an idea explodes in my head... and I grab my book out of my handbag to write it down.
I have it next to my bed at night for scribbling in when things come into my head as I am going to bed...
And I never ever have a shortage of content ideas because my book is full of scribbles, that most likely nobody can even read its so messy... but its all the things that come out of my head.
Have you ever sat at your computer in the morning and thought "oh heck what on earth should I write about today?" - imagine pulling out a notebook crammed with awesome ideas?
My little black book is so attached to me that my girlfriend Yvette Hess (also a blogger and Starter member here) gave me the black book in my featured image. I absolutely love it!

That's a great idea. I have a little old leather bound one I used for passwords ages ago. Hmm,,,,

I also always have a notebook at hand... I'm a big note taker. Only thing is, I seldom go back and read the notes. It's something I do because I think best holding a pen in my hand.
Yes I agree with you, writing things down helps me to think too - much better than typing does. I love writing in a book!
Hi, I carry my gray book around with me everywhere I go as well. I find my ideas flow better when I can write things down, cross items off, highlight key points, draw/sketch logos etc. It really helps me focus!
I also keep a book that I write ideas down in. If i'm at work then I'll jot down ideas in a book in my van and transfer them over later when I'm home.
Old school all the way!

Good idea. I use a small notebook...but not often enough.
