My first shower in 3 days!
Oh I am so grateful - I am about to have my first shower in 3 days. No I am not a hobo but our geyser has been faulty and the electricians have been working on it and only now have managed to find the fault.
We are just waiting for the geyser to heat up.
It is winter and freezing cold, so having a nice hot shower or bath before bed really is a treat.... and I have missed that.

I could deal with that! I live literally on the beach so I could just walk and have a swim and if it is hot then a cold shower would be great... but it was 3 degrees celcius the other night when I couldn't shower :(
Winter?? Its summer here. Although, we got some rain here, so I could just stand outside ;-)
At this point taking a shower for me is a life risking task. I am far worse now than I was right after my Strokes. So I only take a shower when my wife is available for a rescue if I need it. Since my Mobility is now so limited I can probably go two days without taking one.
Yay! Nothing like a hot shower! And great that you've got wheels again. Happy to hear things are coming right Lynne!
I also went 3 days without a shower this week. Just too busy for self care at the mo.
Yes I know all about those moments too... but that was a choice - not being able to shower is awful. Or go cold and it is FREEZING here now.
