Murder Case Evidence - How Hectic!
In 2016 I reviewed two money making scams in South Africa - to me they looked like they were set up by the exact same person and I said as much in my reviews.
I ranked on #1 on Page 1 for both of these scams as well as on page one for my Youtube video.
At the time of writing my reviews I could not ascertain for sure who the person was behind it so I just left that information out. I had loads of engagement on all content related to those scams. Many people that had been scammed mentioned the name of the person behind it.
I also received emails from people and I was contacted by someone on Facebook that told me some very hectic things about him.
Now imagine my shock when in January this year I saw headlines in the paper and online saying that this same person had been arrested in connection with a murder.
Then today I was contacted by the police - they want to nail him for everything and since my website is ranked #1 and I have had so much engagement they would be very grateful if I would assist them with contacting the people that have commented and been scammed to try and gain more evidence against this man.
Oh my word, so that is quite scary for starters. But in another way I feel quite proud that I can help the police in their investigations and I have made a difference warning people against this character!
Now to gather all this information together to hand over to the police. It is going tobe an interesting week that's for sure.

This is very cool and very sinister at the same time. Be very careful. You should speak to an attorney, I don't know how they handle civil cases in South Africa. But here in the US people sue each other all the time for things like this.
If your website is used as evidence to help convict him, you could get caught up in a world of trouble. Please seek legal advice.
Be very careful here. If this guy goes to jail...and your online presence has anything to do with it...in my country we have a lot of civil suits over stuff like this.
You need to speak to an attorney who handles business and libel cases. I don't know how they structure small businesses in your country, here in the US we call them LLC's or sole proprietorships.
The reason people do this is so their personal liability is limited in case of something bad happening - like someone you've written about committing a murder, that sort of thing.
It is not my intent to scare you, but you should at the very least speak to an attorney, especially with the police involved.

All that has been requested at this stage is that I contact all the people that have commented on my website and request permission from them to hand over their details to the investigating officer. Apparently from there I am out of it.
Ok, that's good. As long as you have something in writing from the police that everything you give them will be kept in strictest confidence.
This is serious. Is your website now involved in a criminal investigation? Please, you must request police protection during the entire investigation and after. This is a dangerous venture. I hope you don't get into trouble. Hmmm

Haha. Nothing like a major scammer (and murderer perhaps) caught by the police to add to your daily work load. I'd say that means you're doing something right. :)
OH MY GOSH!!! This is like my dream come true, lol! I am a HUGE fan of true crime stories, true crime podcasts and movies and books! That's awesome!
I mean....not the fact that someone got murdered. (lol) That part is sad.

I know, I feel like Nancy Drew... and yes part of it freaks me out of course! And yes I have to say now that I know he is capable of murder it is kinda scary.
