Love, Light and Healing To Those Moms That Have Lost

Yesterday was a busy day with taking my kids to a birthday party so it was a whole lot of crazy going on. Amidst this craziness I was having a sad day. I felt teary and down.

It was only last night that I joined the dots and realized that yes I have two amazing children and it was nearly Mother's Day but I have also suffered a devastating loss this year when I had a miscarriage in January.

It has taken a long time to find some peace and it still hurts when I think about it, but it is not on my mind all day every day like it was in the beginning.

I am so grateful for my wonderful children that I love with all my heart but today was also part of a grieving process for me that I wasn't expecting.

My pregnancy would have been around 6 months today and I would have been feeling my baby move, I would have known the due date and whether it was going to be a girl or a boy. I would probably already have picked a name.

These are all the thoughts that suddenly went through my mind and when I told my husband I was sad yesterday it took a while before he realized why.

Today I am thinking about all the mothers that have lost their babies. By miscarriage, still birth or a child.

I am thinking of my mother in law that lost her adult daughter in a car accident.

To those mothers, I send you love light and healing today.

So sorry for your loss, Lynne. Losing children at any stage for any reason must be devastating. I'm sure the love and joy you see in your children helps you get through the tough days. All the best.

I am so sorry Mae for your loss and for what your daughter and your family are going through. I can't imagine how painful that must be for you all. It is going to take a long time to start healing.

Yes ALL mothers are remembered!!! Also those who offer food, shelter, or support for children in need.

Tried and True

Elaine

I am so sorry for your loss and understand the moments when the grief hits without expecting it. I've had miscarriages myself, and a friend of mine helped me see that you do need to go through a grieving process and heal.

So glad you have your 2 beautiful children, and I hope you have had a great Mother's Day with them.

Janelle

I am so sorry for your losses Janelle, it is such a painful thing to have to go through.

Yes my children have helped me cope - without them it would have been so much harder.

Happy Mother's Day, Lynne.

Good thoughts Lynne, peace, Alan
