Buzzsumo for Topic Ideas and Content Research
I heard about Buzzsumo (http://buzzsumo.com/) today in a podcast and how its a great tool for topic ideas and content research.
Their subscription is expensive at $99 a month, but their website allows you to do a couple searches a day for free. I was able to glean a lot of good information from the free searches.
Just wanted to share this find with the community.

I plan on using the free searches myself. I had recently been introduced to Buzzsumo but hadn't realized free searches were available. Great suggestion!
Buzzsumo is an absolutely amazing tool :)
After a brief correspondence with their customer service, they offered me a 50% discount for the first 6 months of use...
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one they will make this offer too :) So if you ever decide to make a purchase try and have a talk with them, if you explain to them that you're an affiliate marketer just getting started or something, you'll probably get a prize reduction too... 99$ a month is pretty steep when you're just starting out!

Well... I'm a huge fan of Buzzsumo, it can help you with content ideas and strategies... Also, you can see what's get shared in your niche 'What's working/What's not working' and a ton of other stuff... But it isn't a tool you need to have.. It's just nice to have! So if the price tag is too high don't spend money on it! You can easily manage without it! :)
I can see where it would be very helpful to those that have their sites established and are trying to continually come up with content ideas and trying to rank in Google/Bing.
