Legit or Scam, Do You Want To Know?

I have heard it before but I did not pay much attention to it. Whenever I am preparing a post I prefer to write about something that interests me that is not a review.

I have no problems with reviews but I realized that a large number of the products that I found and researched are actually scams. How can individuals just set out to rob people of their money and pretend that their product is so wonderful?

I visited Google Search Console yesterday and decided to see how my posts are ranking. To my surprise, the Scam Posts are doing much better than the others. I think Google like that sort of thing. Now I realized that not wanting to review Scams is not helping me at least not with Google.

My problem is that I do not like to call someone’s website a ‘Scam Site’ although that‘s what it really is. So now I will have to change how I write posts and write things my readers want to read. Look at the brighter side, if I alert them about scams they will be less likely to get caught.

Excellent! Maybe you could write about how to best identify these "sorts" without calling them Scammers. It's a rather critical accusation as you have well pointed out.

That is true. Thanks for stopping by.

Good points. I think reviews serve a useful purpose when the site being reviewed is truly a scam site. Otherwise it's like that ol' saying, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

That is so true. It is really how you see it. Thanks for stopping by.

Scamming reports and alerts are on the increase for many reasons Luna. Either don't read or don't get drawn in!

That is true but if you read about it, you may not get caught in it. Thanks for reading my post.

Hello, Luna. I think it's a matter of personal choice. I don't like to vilify others to exalt ourselves and that's why I don't like to write a negative review about others while I compare them with us.

I understand your point, Nelson. Hope you are having a blessed day. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for the eye opener!:-)

You are welcome!

That is an interesting thing to find. It has been my experience that, out of 10 'scam reviews' out on the 'Net, about 4 - 5 of them are telling everyone about that particular site or program, but they also include their affiliate link to that same program or site!

It truly begs the question about whether they are scams or whether this writer simply calls them that.

....And many, of course, are simply 'clickbait' to get interested people to sign up.

I have decided to take the 'scam section' out of my website due to the above and not wishing to distract my readers from this because the only answer to a scam site is one that really delivers what it promises.

I was curious about the Scam Reviews too, which is why I do not want to write about scams. If the thing is a scam then why would I want its affiliate link on my site?

I do not understand and there are those among us who call everything a scam. I read where someone was blaming it on the Bootcamp training. I did Bootcamp and I was told to compare the products with WA, not to condemn everyone.

My Niche is How to Make Money Online so it is sort of hard to avoid the scam posts.
Thanks for reading my Post.

You do not have to put the affiliate link on your site. (Theoretically, if it is a scam, you do not want to be a part of it!) I was reffering to people who talk about something being a scam, but, hey, if you want to check it out, join under me! This is a rather mixed message!

The point, of course, is that you do want to compare everything you review about with Wealthy Affiliate by placing a mirror against them, based on the appearance of WA!

I do understand what you are saying and I am in total agreement. Thanks for the interaction.
Blessings!

Before I stumbled across the WA community I would always run a scam search on google. The scam posts are a big help to those that choose to investigate before investing their hard earned savings.

You are so right, I heard before that it was easier to get the Scam Posts ranked in Google than an ordinary review. This could be because people are always checking for scams so you get more visitors.
