Amazon Retiring aStore Feature
While trying to put an Amazon link on my website yesterday, I noticed that I was having problems downloading the link. The other thing I noticed was the advisory notice that was on my account about the aStore.
Well, I was not getting anywhere with my project and I noticed that the Amazon Banners on my site disappeared so I called Amazon's Customer Service. I use the opportunity to get an explanation about the aStore and an explanation as to why I had that kind of problem getting a banner.
Customer Service Representative was awesome. She said the information was placed on all Amazon Associates' Account, but it would not affect me because I do not have an aStore. She checked my website and told me that I might be having internet problems for the links I complained about were intact.
Well the problem was with Comcast I was getting a lousy service, but I really did not mind calling Amazon Customer Service because I was able to ask all the things I needed to know, and the agent was really nice.

An aStore is an online store created by Associates. The Associate's program is not a store.

I read that too when I made my Amazon aStore account. So I don't understand something. If they are shutting down aStore, does that mean there can't be more sellers?
Also,I made an a store only to affiliate. Does that mean I'm doing it wrong? I thought that aStore link helped you get paid by Amazon.
All Amazon Associates are paid by Amazon. The Associate's Program continues, You just have to use another feature maybe you could try the Native Store.
If you feel stuck, just talk to Amazon's Customer Service, they are very nice and they will sort you out. I am just an Associate, I did not add any of the Store features to my account
