I see now that my title and website name and niche is too broad, I want to change it from animals to dogs

Hi Ludmilla,

You really want to be thinking in terms of "what groups of people exist within the overall dog niche?".

For example: dog training, dog grooming, choosing the right dog for you, dog foods and diet, dog apparel etc. All of these are good potential niche ideas.

And you can even break these down further. Any one of the above can be broken down into many smaller niches. While this is not necessary, it's good to know for future reference how you can break a niche down.

For example:

- Dog apparel
- - Apparel for smaller/ larger dogs
- - Apparel for 'sporty' dogs
- - Apparel for certain types of weather
- - Apparel for working dogs
- - Bling for dogs (people do buy their dogs this stuff)

These are just a few ideas off the top of my head, but you get my point. The overall "dogs" niche can work, but it's pretty broad. I recommend refining it to something more targeted, as even then there are many, many keyword ideas, meaning tons of traffic potential.

To change your site name and tagline, Triblu's answer is good. You cannot change an existing domain name though, so you will need to buy a new one, or use a free .siterubix.com domain name.

Does this help? Let me know if you have any followup questions :) Cheers

I do have the free website. How do I change the name?

I don't believe you can transfer a site from one .siterubix.com site to another. So in this case you would need to start over, or purchase your own top level domain, and transfer to that, if you want to alter the domain name.

Hey Ludmilla,

If you wish to simply change your site name and tagline, here's a tutorial to help you do that: You might also considering making "dogs" a category in the website you are now using. Just a thought...

Hope this helps you.

Thank you, Triblu! You really helped! The tutorial was easy to understand and I was able to make the changes I needed!:)
