Hi there! My name is Lucas, currently work in International Education. I first started as en ESL instructor and manager of high-end cafe's, which led to me becoming the director of private language colleges. Now I work in International Marketing for a Canadian university which is great!

My goals are to be able to have a profitable part-time online business through what I learn and share on Wealthy Affiliate.

This is very similar to my own goals...my dream has always been to earn $10,000/mo but I know it will take time and work to get there. Building my own website to get me there made sense...because one of my passions is writing...so it's not just work, it's FUN! Good luck to you in achieving your goals!

Hi Carson, thanks for your message. I have been traveling the past few days for work and it's been very long days. I set-up my basic website, but did nothing the past few days, but right now I'm going to do some work on it. Thanks for the support!

Thanks Rino for the positive reinforcement. I just joined yesterday, and hope to participate a lot, though it's a very busy time of year for me, but I had been delaying joining for weeks so finally I just did. My marketing experience is helpful but a lot of that is strategic planning, HR related stuff, etc., but still I hope it helps. Look forward to following you on WA. Best regards,

Welcome Aboard!,
You've made it to a little slice of heaven and you can sit back and take a little breather! You are about to embark on an adventure that will be difficult and trying at times, but will be extremely interesting and genuinely fun. The best lil'nugget of advise that I put out to the "newb" types, is Keep Your Blinders On At All Times! Remember to stay focused on what you are trying to learn at that time, there will be MANY distractions along every path, Ignore 99.99%, they are just distractions and they will freeze your progress. In the beginning of my journey, I would find myself (usually at the end of a full day of what I thought was work!) Way off track from where I thought I was needing to be. There is plenty of help in the chat so anytime you get jammed up on some thing, please drop into chat and bring it up. You will find people tripping over each other trying to help you in any way they can. Go look me up:) To Our Success!,
