Slow and steady wins the race.

I remember the story of the tortise and the hare....one thing that I have not been since I started on WA, has been to be in a hurry. As the hare found out, always being in a hurry, does not always mean you will win the race. I have been very slow on here. I have not been able to spend the time that I want to or as often as I want. One thing that has been very encouraging to me is that a few people have told me, this is not a race; take my time. Well, I have definitely taken my time! I don't have any real blogging experience, so this is all new to me. I would love to get to a point where I can actually work from home. I know that I will reach my goal as long as I keep moving forward! I will be asking plenty of questions.

Thank you everyone for being so encouraging!

Slow and steady is the best way to learn.

Thank you! I will keep moving forward.

Exactly! Slow and steady wins the race but the key focus here is steady (and consistency).

Just take it slow, do the tasks and keep moving forward. :)

I know you can do it :)

Thanks Chris!

You're in the right place...keep moving forward ask all the question you like...We're here to lend a helping hand..

Thanks Anthony! I appreciate it!

Every little step gets you closer :)

I will keep working at it.

Hi Lisa,
You have that right and thanks for the Like.

Hello Lisa, What a coincidence - I was going to use that analogy the other day, but used something else. That is a good one and
you are absolutely correct. You have to work at your own pace.
The one that I really like and that would fit you to a tee and also me. And that is, DRUM ROLL PLEASE!! wait for it!................
"DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS!" How is that?
Just pace yourself and do what you can do and remember YOU
have to control what YOU do and nobody else. Good Luck.
Ken

I have to say great minds think alike! I do like the different strokes for different folks! I don't get much time on here. I would really like to spend more. Good luck to you too!

Thanks Ken!

I'm also a big fan of the quote "slow and steady wins the race". Keep moving forward, even if it's slow, you're still making progress that will add up over time.

Look forward to months and even years to come, if you start doing little actions now they will eventually add up over time, you won't even realize how much you've done :)

Thank you! That does make a lot of sense! It will be slow for awhile. There is still a lot that I am not sure of or understand.
Great advice!

Thanks!
Lisa
