This is just a quickie folks - last week I was beside myself with irritation thanks to Canva and Pinterest not doing what was promised.

However, today is a new day (& a new week), and yay, posting video to Pinterest direct from Canva is working!

Last Week's Frustration

I noticed when shared my challenges within WA that I wasn't alone with. Asking the question within WA helped me to see that others were experiencing the same thing.

Thank you WA community for helping a gal out.

So the purpose of this quick blog today is twofold:

One To Do A Happy Dance Time!

And Two To Let My Awesome WAmily Know

That's right, to let you know that the facility to post directly from Canva to Pinterest is working smoothly. For video that is - I haven't experienced this challenge with a static post.

Did You Know This Facility Exists?

Have a lookie here, you can post your designs directly from Pinterest to a number of platforms:

Not only social media platforms but also into presentations - how cool!

I have successfully posted direct from Canva to Facebook (page), LinkedIn, Twitter and now - yay! - Pinterest too!

Did you know about this? If so, which have you made use of, and did it work well for you?

Sharing Is Caring

I look forward to hearing from you, go on, share your experiences!

& join me in the happy dance - Yay! Posting Video To Pinterest Direct From Canva Is Working!

Blessings as always

Thank you for sharing this, Louise! I have used Canva for a long time for my business but mostly for creating graphics and video covers. I have never tried to post something directly from the app. I have the free account, though. Is this a Premium feature in Canva? It would be good to know, or I will explore later and see if I can do it on the free account. Thank you again!!! Paula :)

Hi Paula
You can post directly from your free account 😁 Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing Louise. I didn't know Canva had that functionaility. Is this is available via the free version of Canva or a premium version?
Thanks
Melissa

Hi Melissa
Video is available in the Canva free version. As we can expect though, there are more options available in the pro version. For now, i am staying free :-)

Thanks Louise, that's great to know. When I get a moment I'll check it out. It seems that Canva is really evolving and improving.

Very awesome, Louise!

Jeff

Thank you, Jeff 😎 (future's so bright, I gotta wear shades)

That's awesome, Louise!😎☀️

Howzit Louise,
Well done, I know how you feeling ,when you accomplish something.
I have sent both Video and Static to Pinterest. although Video not too long.
I was just about too send another but said was problem.
I am going to have a Break and check in the morning.
I am busy building a few Pin, so I can plan ahead.
I thoroughly enjoy this side of things.
Also sent Static and Video to Facebook.

Cheers
Murray

Hi Murray
Well done you too!
Yeah, posting directly is a definite advantage. i also use emojis though (in the text of the post) and that doesn't seem to be available within Canva (I could be mistaken), so I do my first post to Facebook, then go to the post and edit to include the emojis I want, then copy and paste that text into the other shares from Canva into Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter.
Thank you for sharing.
Blessings
Louise

Howzit Louise.
I haven't used Emojis as yet (so not sure if they are there, if I find will let you know).
I use a Blank Canvas and just add what I like.
I like to vary the Text Fonts.
Your reply to Roy about the Video option is spot on I have used Breathe, Tumble, Photo Flow, in fact I think all the Free Options. Louise I don't know if you are aware, but you can Test it before you Send/Down load.
The page where you add the Text etc, on the Top Blue line to the RHS you have 3 ... Dots.
Press the DOTS and Box drops down, and will ask
How would you like to Publish
Recommended
Various Options for you too choose.
To Test
Click Present,
Box will Drop down with Present in Purple
Click Purple Present
and Voila you Masterpiece for you to see.
Hope this helps.

Cheers
Murray

I'll certainly join you in the happy dance Louise!

Great work by the way, I only use Canva for static images currently, but hopefully videos will come next!

Have a fantastic week my friend!:-)

Hi Nick
It's so easy to transform your static post into a video, just go to effects and select one of the options. There are great free options available, no need to upgrade.
Blessings
Louise

Thanks for the info Louise! I will have a play around with that shortly!
