Why, Thank You Google!
Why Is This Relevant To Us At WA?
I always try to circle around to how everything is connected, especially when it comes to WA and our online businesses.
When I am searching for things online, I always "Google" them. When recommending to someone else to search online, the words I use are "why not Google it"?
Apologies to Bing and Yahoo - I do value any rankings you offer - but for me, it is always Google as my go-to.
This is not by any mistake on Google's part - they have done their job well. Google for me is what Hoover is to vacuum cleaners. Even though I own a Korean brand these days - I still Hoover my home.
The lesson is clear. No matter how subtle the communication, brands that "speak our languages" and relate to our understanding of the world are always the ones we remember and return to by default. Once this kind of loyalty is achieved, it is an extremely big ask to get consumers to change from a brand they know and trust (and may even love without realizing it).
Wealthy Affiliate is that brand to me. If I convince others the same, there is no doubt that success will follow.
Not only that - our own businesses need to be that brand to our buyers, customers and followers.
How are you going about ensuring that your messaging delivers in the language of your customers?
Happy Freedom Day!
These are not the reasons South Africa celebrates Freedom Day, but they are some of mine. The freedoms afforded to us as online entrepreneurs, here are my top 3:
- Time Freedom (to work the hours we choose, that suit our lifestyles and family)
- Geographic Freedom (to work wherever we decide to)
- Freedom to work in a niche we are passionate about
Do you have any to add to that?
Why, Thank You, Google!
This last little paragraph (or two) is not only to thank Google. It's also to thank you for reading,
I look forward to your responses to the two questions posed in this little blog. You have the freedom to respond or not, lol!
Happy Freedom Day fellow online entrepreneurs & blessings always

Excellent Post & Share Louise.
1) Offering products/services that they are looking for & spelled out in plain language that they can understand & value.
2) Provide the ever so important support for all new & ongoing training that is needed for such a fast changing advancing Market Place.
Thanks for your post.

It is human nature to long for freedom, to make decisions arbitrarily every day, and to have complete independence from others, both privately and in business. We gained our freedom far more easily than others who had to fight for it, even though we fight our little battles every day. That is why, empowered by our successes and the desire to be free, I wish you all a Happy Freedom Day. We are all Nelson Mandela.
Hi there Miroslav
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, much appreciated. The only change I might make is to say "we are all capable of being Nelson Mandela". Sadly many of his cadres have not walked in the same fashion he did, I am certain he would be bitterly disappointed at what South Africa has become.
Blessings always
Louise
