Happy 2-months with WA to me!

Still a babe with WA, I am delighted to celebrate 2 months today with this wonderful place! It has been a joy to be here every day, not a day goes by without me learning something new, being entertained by people I have met, welcoming newbies on board and being warmly welcomed into the fold myself.

Worth celebrating? Absolutely!

In the last two months I have:

  • had 6 articles ranked by Google;
  • covered a huge amount of training in WA Affiliate Bootcamp - right now I am on a 20-day break from training, as per the schedule, 17 days to go ... yes, I am counting
  • built a network of 1.4k followers within the Wealthy Affiliate community
  • followed in excess of 9000 people within the WA community - what's with this folks, follow me back already, lol!
  • asked a mere 6 questions
  • been assisted by the amazing team in Site Help more times than they probably care to remember - such patient and helpful people, love you all :-)
  • written 11 blogs (within the community)
  • burnt my fingers in the site comments and feedback by confusing the two (ouch!) but I have been reinstated now - thank you Kyle
  • read and commented on a whole lot of blogs within WA
  • received amazing comments and responses on my website and here in the community
  • this list goes on ... I may just add on some more

Phase 1, 2 and 3 - just short of 30 lessons

Where to even start .... Wealthy Affiliate has taught me so much in a very short space of time! I am at the tail-end of Phase 3 of the WA Boot Camp and have covered the following lessons:

PHASE 1:

1. Getting started

2. Choosing Your Direction (WA all the way!

3. Building Your Website (Late Bloomer was born)

4. A Website Look Around

5. Activating Your Plugins

6. Getting Your website Ready for SEO

7. Your Initial Framework of Content

8. Understanding the Keyword Research Process

9. Creating Thoughtful, Insightful Reviews

10. The Exciting Journey Has Begun

PHASE 2:

1. Creating Readable Content that Converts

2. Properly Using Affiliate Links

3. Understanding Keywords and A Day of Selling

4. Creating Reviews and Using Targeted Keywords

5. Take a break, catch up

6. Backing Up Your Website

7. Enhancing Your Website "Experience"

8. Building MORE Content Through Internal links

9. Write a Review and Share It

10. Offering Bonuses the Easy WA Way

PHASE 3:

Looks like this ... I am sharing a screenshot so you can see exactly where I am:

Yep, I have done a whole lot of lessons here - and still have so much to learn! Talk about an exciting journey.

For seasoned WA members the above lists may be a distant memory - perhaps a timely reminder of how far you have come too. For those of us with the training still ahead, it feels like a lifetime away - but oh boy, what a lifetime! This is so much fun. Yes, frustrating at times, and brain bending too, but overall, worth every single cent of WA Premium - and more!

WA Premium truly is a University for anyone who wants to build a successful online business!

What This All Means

Over the last 60 days I have:

  • completed nearly 30 lessons
  • built two websites (granted, one is only 2 pages, but I did build it)
  • conducted a huge amount of research -
    • within WA,
    • market place / competitors
    • affiliate opportunities
  • written a plethora of blogs (no, not all have been published, some never will be)

This is in addition to:

  • holding down a job
  • continuing with pet and house sitting bookings
    • this entails meeting with clients and potential clients
    • staying over at their homes (in addition to running my own, furbabies and all)
    • visiting their homes, feeding and playing with furbabies, watering gardens, checking on security issues etc
  • working at house show days on Sunday afternoons
  • lifting my precious youngsters to and from church on Sundays (this is my love job)
  • and hopefully having a life of my own in amongst all of it

The WA Community

What a diverse array of wonderful people! I have been encouraged and humoured and blessed by so many people within this community. I have met:

  • Youngsters starting out - drop-outs, new graduates, all across the spectrum
  • Professionals looking for a better quality of life
  • Missionaries
  • Retired folk with so much zest, enthusiasm and passion for life, people, technology, travels ... you name it
  • Sea Captains
  • Professors
  • Teachers
  • Engineers
  • Some folk so bright, they should have been twins
  • Men, women, mothers, fathers, grandparents
  • Single, married, divorced, widowed
  • Americans, Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders, fellow Africana, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, English, Scottish, European - this list continues - WA members hail from all over the globe!

What a fabulous journey this is proving to be! I am looking forward to completing the WA Affiliate Bootcamp training, 16 and a half days left until I can move to Phase 4 - cannot wait!

What will I do until then?

  • Refresh my articles and pages on my website
  • Write more articles
  • Link up with more Affiliate Marketing opportunities
  • Write an ebook or two (oh yeah, I am ambitious)
  • Complete training that I have bookmarked within the community

... trust me, I won't be bored!

Thank you for reading my story, please share your WA training experiences too!

Blessings

Congratulations! You just did an amazing job of summarizing what you have accomplished the last two months. This post is great in that it reminds all of us, even when we are not making the progress that we would like to have made by this point, that we have actually accomplished a lot.

You make the pet sitting job sound fun. Yet, I can only think that you must be incredible at managing your time.

Best wishes

Thank you Sondra - it was a great refresher for me to look over all the training and implantation over the last 2 months, I have been so focused on "getting there" that I hadn't really looked at what had been covered in the training. I can only attribute it all to the WA training methodologies, Kyle and Carson really have done something special here.
In terms of time management, I literally do what I have to at the time it needs to be done - it used to overwhelm me but I try to "live in the moment" as much as humanly possible.
Best wishes to you too

Excellent work Louise,
You are well on your way. Can't wait to see where you are in 2 more months!!!

An exciting journey to be sure.

Enjoy your "WA training downtime".

Thank you Mitch, really appreciate your input.
I have been doing some research today which I'd like to share with you when I have it in some kind of order - would you mind me bouncing some ideas off you please?
Blessings
Louise

Sure thing. Send me a PM and I'll look at it.

I love your enthusiasm! I'm excited to be sitting here near the starting line, and seeing where you are at 60 days, and that you are still super excited and moving forward!

Great post, thank you for sharing!
Brooke

Thank you Brooke - I am so glad my enthusiasm is obvious, I really do absolutely love this WA place!
It's going to be fabulous to see where you are in 60 days too - I can't wait!

Thank you Steve

🥳🚀

Thank you Fleeky

Well done! 👍🏻😊 Keep it up! 😊

Thank you very much!

A lot achieved in two months, congratulations!

Hi Ann
Thank you for saying that - I feel like I should have done more - I think that is why Kyle paces us in the training though, so we do what we learn rather than rushing on.
Thank you again.
Louise

Happy WAnniversary!
We had a pet business and stayed in people's homes, such as you do, and we wish we had known about WA then because it is (in our opinion) a perfect fit when pet/housesitting.
You have accomplished a lot and we wish you every success going forward!
Colette and Philip

Thank you for your wishes and message Colette and Phiip.
My daughter and I started the pet and house sitting out of necessity in December 2016, I was very nervous of dogs - not to mention the security challenges of house sitting in Johannesburg - turns out, it is something we love doing! The furbabies are amazing - big and small, I have loads of fun with them. We do not take on vicious dogs and I am now also particular about the houses - the security must be good.
I agree, the fit is perfect with WA too!
Here's to our successes!

Louise

We started out of necessity, too, Philip and I. As you say, security is a big consideration. We worked in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley in Arizona, US. We turned down clients who had aggressive dogs. We got certified as dog trainers and worked at a shelter so we could understand dog behavior. This helped us a lot.
Thanks for your response!
C & P

Wow, this is so amazing. It gives me the courage to press on

That's it Ntombi - you can do this!
I wish you every success with getting your online business off the ground - it is going to be worth everything you put into it.
Blessings
Louise

Happy 2-months anniversary Louise!

Keep up the good work!

Godspeed!

Thank you very much :)
Blessings
Louise

My pleasure Louise!
