Brand Design Using the KISS Principle (& An Awesome Online Offer)

Something I read within WA over and over is to keep things simple (hence the KISS principle). An area that many of us go off course and down major rabbit holes is the bright shiny toys and tools. Experienced and successful affiliate marketers tell us not to worry too much about how our site looks but rather to focus on producing quality content. With this in mind, I am delighted to share a platform with you that will assist in your brand design using the KISS principle.

Where Did I Find Them?

Scrolling through Facebook (my name is Louise and I am an addict - this is a work in progress) my attention was caught by the following:

"Fancy some free stock photos based on your brands ideal style? Take our quiz to find out what kinds of images suit your business based on your personality - if you like your answer, pop your details in and I'll send you a free sample of stock photos based on your result!"

I couldn't resist this opportunity! So clickety-click I went, through to the quiz and website called Tide & Tree (dot com for anyone who is keen to try).

After answering a few simple questions the site presented me with beautiful colourways and imagery, perfect for one of my businesses.

According to Tide & Tree, my brand style is "dreamer". The business I had in mind for this is my Vision Board business - so "dreamer" is an appropriate match in more ways than one.

And ... this was all for free!

Free Stock Photos Anyone?

If you are anything like me, free is always appealing! Not only do you get 12 free stock images when you sign up, but you also receive a bonus guide to help you along your way!

The Bonus Guide

As you can see, you also qualify for a bonus guide when you sign up, I am glancing through it right now and there are some great ideas - certainly worth signing up for! It offers 8 places for your to use your free stock photo's

  • social media posts
  • social media branding
  • your website
  • landing pages
  • email marketing
  • sales & promotions
  • seasonal decor
  • blog posts

Affiliate Opportunity Anyone?

Plus, plus, plus (I feel like a Verimark advert, lol) you can also sign up with them as an affiliate!

Caveat .... I am not promoting them as an affiliate opportunity because I do not know enough about the offer, so please be sure to check it all out for yourself.

There are three paid membership options:

Monthly - $25

Quarterly - $87

Annually - $297

You may need to be a paying member in order to become an affiliate for Tide & Tree. I have asked and await a response from them.

Just to be clear - I am not promoting Tide & Tree within WA as an affiliate for them, this blog is simply to share my excitement about what I consider to be a great way to get branding done quickly and simply.

If I have to become a paid member to be an affiliate for them, I will give it a miss at this stage.

Multiple Images Single Stock Photo

They have a blog titled multiple images single stock photo - well worth a read too.

This blog demonstrates how one stock photo can be used in multiple ways. Each photo demonstrated is repositioned, flipped, cropped to change its appearance. This is very clever because you get more bang for your buck out of one image.

KISS

Keeping it simple is often easier said than done. Tide & Tree dot com will certainly assist you in doing that with your brand.

I am definitely going to be using their suggestions, I love the imagery and colours. This has shortened my branding exercise and allows me more time and energy to focus on income-producing activities.

Should you decide to take advantage (in the nicest way possible) of this offer, I encourage you to keep the KISS principle in mind and make the most of what is on offer to shorten your journey too.

I hope you enjoy the offer made by Tide & Tree dot com and that you benefit from their guidance on brand design using the KISS principle & their awesome online offer.

Remember, Sharing Is Caring

Do you know of other companies who offer these kinds of stock photos and design ideas? If so, please share in the comments below.

Before you say Canva, there is one last thing I want to cover about Tide & Tree - the design advice they offer is also done in Canva - so we stand to learn something new from them about how to make the most of Canva too. (I am an unashamed Canva fan, just by the way 😊)

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings always

See, you have me off-course, going down the rabbit hole (you may call me Alice), but I did enjoy your information. I am working now on KISS, and this sort of platform could help as the learning curves are piling up. Since you asked, I have found iCLIPART. com useful for many different types of images.

Thank you for an entertaining article.

Hi Donna
I really thought I'd responded to you - sorry for the delay.
Hope you've made it out of the rabbit hole now, Alice 😂
Thank you for sharing iCLIPART dot com, I shall have a look there too.
Glad you enjoyed the article, thank you for saying so.
Blessings always

Sounds like a good way to approach branding. As an alternative, I suggest using Canva. After I started using the block editor I missed the image gallery of WA. I wanted the freedom to choose beyond the free pictures so I became a paid member.

You make a great point about branding. Looking for help in the right places can make a big difference.

All the best Louise.

Edwin

Hi Edwin
Thank you for taking the time to read and make a suggestion - I am still not au fait with the block editor, need to work on that skill because I really do see the value!
All the best to you too.

Very interesting Louise, I have only started playing around with canva recently and have to admit to being a big fan of theirs!

If Tide & Tree can help to make the experience better, then it is well worth trying out in my opinion!

Thanks for the great info my friend and have a fantastic day!:-)

Hi Nick
Glad you appreciated this. Canva is loads of fun and having the opportunity to select brand colours and pics from Tide & Tree will just shorten (and neaten up for me) the branding journey.

I will go give this a look, sounds helpful. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Siobhan
