A More Strategic Approach

I am breathing a massive sigh of relief right now, why? Well, I am doing the SAC and have managed to get myself into a total tizz over it all, seriously overwhelmed and totally under active! I am a Late Bloomer in many ways and have to take the time to breathe, evaluate, research, re-evaluate and then start again - as many times as it takes to get me to the right place. Finally I have found it and am working with a more strategic approach!

Following Kyle's Advice Step By Step

I implemented the number of words and article goals in site content - all it did was overwhelmed me - yeah, I am a more sensitive soul than even I realized! A conversation with Kyle not so long ago revealed that I need to look at the steps and not the whole picture, setting the goals was a big picture exercise for me as it turned out. Important to do, but also important to manage back to the minute detail.

This overwhelm took me quite a few steps backwards before I could move forward again. Nothing wrong with a little cha-cha-cha I guess (one of my favourite sayings "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass ... it's about learning to dance in the rain". Funny that)

Research

Took the time to research other sites online, looked out for questions being asked in groups, articles written by fellow bloggers, what I need to run my online business and then, the light bulb moment came! Woo hoo! I know what to write about!

True to form, this Late Bloomer took the scenic route to get to the strategy! But now that I have my strategy in place, this is how my plans look:

• 13 Categories to write about
• 110 Articles to write - and growing as I research

That's insane!!! But so exciting! I am more motivated than ever! Having to learn more and more new ways to create the look I want on my website - the learning never stops.

I have 17 articles to write before 3 July - and with all of this material, there is no doubt that I can hit that target!

Yeah, that is me - one VERY, VERY HAPPY LADY!

One Goal Achieved

When I joined Wealthy Affiliate I was a prolific writer within the community, so much so that my WA blog numbers far exceeded my website blog numbers! At first I was shocked by my oversight in the way I had planned my time and "wasted" it by blogging in a place that would not assist me in generating an income. Turns out though that it was great practice and clearly very necessary for me to do things that way. I am very happy to say that my website now has equal number of blogs on it - and over the next 2 weeks the blog number on my site will far exceed the blogs I have within the community!

My Encouragement To You

Not matter how challenging you find the situation, now matter how slow you are move - persevere! Some people move at a rapid rate of knots, some of us have to take the scenic route - more than once on occasion.

So long as you keep moving, you will get there too!
