I have a site that I purchased about a year now, and have not been able to access this site for months now

because, I get this same message saying <<<This Connec

Hi, Louisa, could be a problem with your SSL. When I enter your DN in the address bar the message comes up "having difficulty finding that site", and there's no green padlock showing.

When purchased, the site may have included the SSL Certificate, this may now have expired and needs to be updated. If the site is showing in Site Manager, click on details and make sure the free SSL Certificate button is on. Hope this helps. Best wishes

Harry, thank you very much for helping to resolve this issue.

Hi, Louisa,
I had this same problem. I fussed with it for two weeks. Finally, tech support fixed it. If I could send them cookies, I would. So straight to tech support, I do not think this is something we can fix.
Sandy

Sandy, thank you! I certainly think you are absolutely correct.
I will follow through with site support.

Let me know what you find out.
Sandy

I would contact tech support about this issue and see what they could do about it. And if that doesn't work contact either Kyle or Carson. I hope this helps you out

Okay, sound like something I need to do.

Thank you for your advice.

Louisa B

You are very welcome no problem I was glad to help you out

Not really got a clue.

No problem!

Thank you!

I resolved this problem with the refresh button it cleared any bugs that might have been there. Not sure but it worked for me.

Yes I tried the refresh button, but that didn't work.
Thank you for your advice and tip.

I have actually seen a couple of people having this problem. I know I saw someone mention updating the SSL.

Okay, I will do so.
Thank you!

You are welcome

There seem to be a security issue that should be fixed.c.maybe clearing browsing data might be a first step.

Courtney, I think that could be the case.

Thank your for your advice.

Hey Louisa,

This is definitely an issue that SiteSupport can help you with: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Hope this helps you.

Yes, I will send the problem to them asap!

Thank you much!

Hi Louisa
Probably the https is not activated. (s) for secure.
You can search the top search bar for https, or padlock. I think MarionBlack has done a training about it, but there are several others as well.
Hope this helps!

The best solution if you haven't already fixed it, contact the support team, explain to them the problem and they will fix it in minutes.

Try this. Toggle your SiteSSL.
Go to Websites -> Site Manager ->your domain -> Details ->
SiteSSL (HTTPS)
Turn it OFF and ON again.
Then check your link.

Hmm I wonder Louisa if it has to do with the browser rather than the domain?

Great question!
Thank you for your thought.

What are the steps to embed a Screencast Video into my WordPress Blog? Marion Black?

Thank you!

She has the best training doesn't she?! Did you get it figured out?

Thanks Randi, I can embed video's from YouTube to my word press blogs. But I don't know as of yet how to set it up on my WA page to do a tutorial or training. I went to YouTube and there I found some more tip as well!

i will get it soon!
I am working on publishing my E books too. So this is where my focus will be on, yes a product of my own.

Though, I have received so much info from the community here at WA. I just need to focus more on those areas.

Louisa
I can completely understand. I'm working to set up a new woo-commerce site! YouTube is amazing for tutorials! Good luck with your e-book! I have no doubt you'll achieve every goal you set for yourself :).

Thank you!

There is a plugin that you can download for it, and I think that Marion's training covers it too....
Good luck - Orion

Santa, thank you very much!

Marion, thank you for sharing this link!

Great advice!

I watched Jay's training last night and realized I don't leverage videos like I should. I will be working on that.

I watched Jay's training last night! Video making and E books is my main focus.

Once I get a little further down this road of affiliate marketing, I would like to try my hand in eBooks. But now, focused on websites.

Thanks for sharing and I like the video tutorial link from the feedback. Very useful for us newbies
Lilian

That is awesome!

You'll need to upload it to YouTube first

Thanks a lot Marion!

If you haven't already, take a look at this 5 video tutorial https://youtu.be/y5HVHXh5Wjc. It gives you the 3 options, 1) publish it directly to Screencast-O-Matic and get a URL, 2) publish it to Youtube, then embed from there, and 3) publish it as a video file in MP4 format, then you'll be able to do whatever you please with it (upload to Youtube, etc).

Great tutorial, check it out.

Sam, thank you" Great video, and easy to follow.
This what I need!

You're on point!

Cheers,

Louisa B

Happy to be of help.

Hope you help.

Thank You very much for this link!

I would like to know how to get the training when people ask a question. I see you are good at it. See it has a symbol next to it.
I would be a happy camper if you can PM me the steps,

I really need to know how to retrieve this info when I'm on chat!

I appreciate you!

If I move a site Rubix Domain to my own domain, I purchased, will I lose that content that was moved?

I moved quite a few Domains but cannot see the contents on the sit

Hi Louisa, I didnt transfer content out of siterubix, but copied it in from outside with the help of site support, and it all went perfectly, Best Alan

I'm glad you found the answer to your question, and I'll add my assurances here. I transferred my Rubix site over to my own domain and it was perfectly fine. I did keep the Rubix site for the full month as a just in case policy.

Take care.

Moving your old domain to new domain in WA has no problem as all your contents, comments and every other things goes with it to your new domain. But the advice is to leave it up to one month to make sure that every thing goes well before deleting the old domain.

Good Morning Louisa.

I would not worry. When I moved my website the old websites were still available for at least 1 month. When you see everything is ok you can delete the old one. It sometimes takes awhile for everything to be visible on the new website. Site Support will always have a backup of things.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Good Morning!
Very nice to connect again. Thank you very much for that fine reply! I hope all is well and the business is going okay!

Have a very nice weekend!

Blessings!

Louisa B

Good Morning Louisa,

I am keeping a low profile since the beginning of Jan. I wanted to have more time for writing, comments, and lessons. I have started Pinterest and it is improving my stats on WA but again I am missing time to do everything.

All the best, Taetske

Good morning laparra,
Sometimes we have to step back and then catch up.
In a few months I will do the same.

I really need to focus on my ebook publishing business
I haven't started because of the demand here.

I need to get all my social media up to par as well!

Once I get my own up and rolling then I will concentrate on new learning.

I wish you much success with your endeavors.

Louisa B

I moved mine and the content was maintained. Also, my old siterubix site was archived for a while.

Okay, that's great to know! Thank You!

I recently moved a site and the content are there intact.

What about making a back-up of content so that if you get the same result (lose content), you have a Plan B.

Coach, great suggestion, thank you!

I have moved my first domain from site Rubix to another domain and my contents were safe. You will just have to wait for the amount of time required for everything to work properly.

So you have both sets of content combined now!

I still have the first domain with all the contents which I don't use. I can delete it anytime if I want. You can copy what you want and add to your other site. Thanks

Alright, that's exactly what I wanted to hear!

Thanks, Thanks!

Have a great weekend!

Hope you help with that.

Larmu, thank you!

I know how to move the domain, I was talking about both sets of contents.

Will I have the one I moved and the one that I moved it to.

You much do click save every content. Try it hope you help too.

Okay, thank you, and have a great weekend!

You may need to give it a bit of time to show up properly on the new website. Wait awhile before contacting Site Support.

Okay, Marion, Thank you!

If you do this within WA, you will not lose your content.

I thought that you will save both domain content, and the both will be combined.

I was curious to know for sure, is 1000 words to much for a product review?
What is the less amount words that make a good review, or does it matter?

I would definitely make sure it's a very thorough and complete review rather than the number of words contained within.

I can definitely read several thousand words if it catches and keeps my interest,

I hope this helps.

Take care.

That sound solid and reasonable to me! Thank you b very much!

I don't have any reviews under 1000. Mine seem to be around 2500 words.

Depends on what you are reviewing.

I think at least 1000 words for a product review. If you use the 5 w's:

Who
What
When
Where
Why

Add the How.

Absolutely, I think 1000 is reasonable!
Thank you!

You're welcome!

Okay, Have a great week!

I could easily consume 1000 words. If it keeps me captured and provides value I would even bookmark it. Keep your target audience in mind.

Thanks a lot, I can do that!

I really don't think it matters. As long as you feel its thorough and complete.

Ah! I most certainly feel that is reasonable as well. Thank you!

I think it just has to be as long as it meets the needs of your audience.
Please remember that comments count in your word count so a short article with lots of engagement could still work out really well.

Some niches are naturally shorter. For example take that "fidget spinner craze" that took over the world 6 months ago.

Could you imagine a 1000 -1500 word product review on one of those things????? Boring!!!

But a 500 word product review with heaps of comments would rank really, really well. Good luck finding the right balance.

Everything sounds quite satisfying to me.

Thanks so much!

To me any good review write should be around 600-1000 words anything more than that should be boring and depending on how inquisitive the reader is about the product.

Got it! Thank you very much!

A lot of it depends on the product and the features you want to cover. But it also depends on your writing style, or "voice". I have 2 WA reviews on different sites. 1 is about 1500 words because I geared that site toward quick facts and resources to get started. The other is over 4000 words because that site is much more technical in the information I provide.
That being said, don't force it. Like Kyle says in the training, between 1000-1500 is a good goal. But write what feels right to you and sounds natural. Your readers will know if you're forcing it jyst to get a higher word count.

Got it! Thank you so much! You really explained that very well!

This is partly what we're taught here and partly my opinion.

WA goal is 1,000 words.

However, I have found from all of the articles I have written so far that when I really connect with a topic or an article, I always (naturally) end up right around the 1000 word mark.

I don't focus on it and don't worry about it. I just naturally end up there.

My last thought is that I tend to stop reading longer articles than that unless I am really into the topic.

I hope that helps.

Rick

Rick, yes, that was very helpful. Thanks a lot!

He's right, and I agree with him. At least 1,000 words.

In the health niche that I have worked before, I see sites with less than 1,000 words articles and yet they're ranking high.

My advice to you is, for you to beat your competition, you have to strive harder than them. So, if they're ranking with 500 words, then go for 1,000 words and above.

Of course, it's not really on the number of words.. But at least, you've tried harder.

Coach, I got it! Thanks a lot.

You are probably going to hate this answer, but make it as long as it needs to be.

Don't be overly wordy for no reason, get what yuo have to say and get out.

with that said, if you are trying to compete with other reviews that are already ranking for a target keyword, it would be wise to see how long the top ranking sites reviews are and create something better than those.

Well, thank you! That sounds logical enough. I got it!

My individual reviews have been about 1,500 words. I just want to make sure that nobody has to go searching the internet for more information after they read my review. I don't know if there is a set number of words.

Okay, 1500 words are okay! Thank you for your comment?
