Learning how to create the illusion of friends on social media takes time and practice.

INTIMACY:

Most people in the WA Network is here to learn and start a successful business, and the way we can do this, is by connecting with strangers, friends and relatives. Did you know that intimacy, however is a critical part of succeeding on the internet.

Are you afriad of connecting with strangers?

Genuinely engaging through social media can sometims feel like you are leeking out your most vauable asset to the world, which is true. But how can we get pass that feeling of being hacked.

How can you share enough of your personal life to connect?

You can do this by drawing the boundaries between what is personal and, or private.

Here are a few tips that can help.
  • Revel in your imperfections and sense of imtimacy requires a certain amount of imperfection.
  • Study the social media profile of authors and writers you admire.
  • Engage your audience, and allow readers a chance to reply by prompting them with a question or by asking for their provoking opinion.
  • Choose a focus or apporach about the kind of writer you are; social, personal or wither writer.

Barbara Oneal once said, "Creating the illusion of intimacy will regard you tenfold with a ready made community who can be mobilized when you have a new story. It's worth the time to cultivate it well."

Creating a network of friends will happen, but it takes some quality time for a stranger to trust you, so be patience and build a successful platform.
