Becoming a publisher - My Jouney Part 5
So here at the end of my first week, and with many things that have already happened. I thought that things would settle down a bit for me to catch my breath. Well that did not happen.
I was on Facebook and decided to join a few gaming groups, which I hoped would give my website some more exposure, and boy did with two out of the three.
One of the groups I joined has many followers and when I send in one of my articles its approved quickly, but it is one of the groups that I was shocked by. I posted one of my contents from my website, I explained who I was and that my site was an affiliate site, however my goal was my writing about my niche. I also let them know if they had any ideas or reviews they want me to write about to let me know. It was a way to engage, and it paid off
The admin was on when I did this and so not only did he approve my post but he gave my publisher rights. I mean how cool is it to go on to someone else's site and they make you a publisher. Well from personal it is a very exciting felling but also a scary one.
Its great cause I have reach a specific target area and now a new avenue to explore. The scary part of all this is I know to keep the publishers right I have to make sure my content is worthy of my niche and does not stray.
I have placed to content pieces in this group and got some reaction from it. I know with this type of niche I must be patient and make sure that I deliver well written posts at least three times a week to this site.
I know I would be writing a lot of content, in fact I have 15 posts on my site now, all within a week. But I never thought I would be delivering my post as a publication to another site. To be a publisher for yourself if fun, but is great responsibly when your doing on someone else's site.
So here is my suggestion to you, When your in Facebook, got to the search bar at the top. Punch in your niche and then the word groups. Start joining groups in your niche because, it is another way to reach out to people and find those who are most interested in your products too.
Before I leave you, I give you this to think about. It's not the journey that defines us, but how we walk the path.
