Hi Loes,

I have had a look at your website, and I have quite a lot of suggestions. These may come across as a bit dramatic, and sorry if the tone sounds a bit harsh. I've written it just as my thoughts came to me as I was looking at it, and these are the things I would be thinking to myself if I was reassessing my own website.

Okay, first thing, don't have the different header images swiping horizontally across the top. Just have one static image, it's less distracting. The images of urban scenery at night, these seem irrelevant to me somehow. The simple one that says "Work at Home, The Future is Yours", this is great. Use this one as your static header image.

Remove those round images on the right. They don't really serve much purpose.

Condense the top section so that the remainder of the page starts higher up. It's best to have plenty "above the fold" if you know what I mean. The more you've got for people to see before they have to scroll down, the better.

You don't need the bit that says "Legitimate Work at Home, the Future is Yours". You already say something like this in your header image. Actually, scrap that whole front page. It's too "in your face" for me. Even the image slider with the text over the images, although nicely done, I feel that it doesn't work somehow. And with the Wealthy Affiliate link beneath that, I would feel like I'm being given the hard sell before I've even had a chance to look round your content.

I think your blog posts would be good for your front page: http://workathomefuture.com/work-home-blog - but it needs something in the sidebar on the right. If you look at mine, after my photo I've got: Important Pages, Learn to Make Money Online, a square advertising banner for WA, then my Recent Posts.

I think that's it for my initial impression of the front page of your website. I haven't gone into depth to look around all your pages, but let me know if you would like me to do that.

You have a lot to offer, Loes, and with some key changes like this I think you should see a significant improvement on your results.

I hope that helps :)

Yes it surely does help, I allreadfy changed quite a bit, just while reading your reply

Hey, I just took a look at your website again. Straight away that felt better to look at. I know you haven't done everything exactly as I suggested, and that totally understandable. It was just my opinion. But this definitely looks a lot better. I also like the new photo on your pop-up.

Loes you are without a doubt the most helpful person I have ever met online you amaze me every day and i learn a lot from the other peoples comments but if i may pose a very large problem I am having that is consuming and wasting a lot of my time surfing is security. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

It is funny, I checked your website and in a place where you can see visitors and locations, from where they are from, my original location is couple hundred miles away. Country is the same. Anyway, it is great to see from where your visitors are coming. All the best, regards, Nemira

Yes, I like that live feature

I honestly find animated gifs distracting. It becomes hard to concentrate on the words with all that flashing going on. But you know I love you Loes. ~Marion

Yes I know you do:))

I'm inclined to agree with Marion...particularly when there is a great deal of movement. The colors flashing are not as much of a distraction as the letters in constant motion. Thanks for asking.

Hi Loes,
You have a very nice looking website.
Love the slide show - a really great idea, though we'd like to say that it rotates a tat too quickly. We watched it a few times, so it didn't matter too much to us, but the rotation is a bit fast because you can't read all the text and take in the background pictures all at the same time.
All in all very imaginative.
One other thing, on the page we were, 'Legitimate Work at Home the Future is Yours', we couldn't find the comment box. Hence we gave you the comment here.
Thank you for the tour.

Thanks Geoff&Jane;, I have slowed down the slides, made them more quiet and changed the call to action button:) Thanks for your feedback.
There is no commentbox on the landingspage, so it is no wonder you couldnot find it:)

Hi Loes. I happened to check my emails on my mobile and when I read your blog I thought I'd take a quick look at your website. The first thing to say is that your theme, although it claims to be 'professionally responsive', is not at all mobile friendly. I gave up very quickly because I could only see the left third of the picture on your slideshow and it wouldn't let me scroll along to see much else. Since I don't normally use my mobile for research, this wouldn't worry me too much, but it might be important to others.

I think ChrisGooden sums up your problem perfectly. There is practically no information on your landing page and lots and lots of distractions. I would click away very quickly. My brain doesn't like so many moving things, especially when they move so fast that I can only ever read half before it moves on to the next. And your site has TWO lots of moving things. Too many bells and whistles for my liking.

I like your Work at Home The Future is Yours Header. Why not keep that as a static header. It's perfect and tells people what your site is about. Why have those other dark gloomy header photos distracting from your main message. The quotes on them are nice, but the font is rather tiny anyway. And you could always find a place for them elsewhere. The same goes for the circle quotes. They are just a distraction - too gloomy and tiny to see much anyway. And the first circle with your picture is on your 'Work at Home...' header anyway, so there is no need to have it again.

I also took a quick look at your FAQ page and, again, I quickly gave up, simply because the font is too small and the lines are too long. And I don't like little people that jump up and down when I am trying to concentrate on text.

For some reason my eye kept being drawn to the box on the right 'How to make this box No.44' making me wonder what on earth all this is about....

I am sorry this all sounds so terribly negative. You can do hundreds of things that I can't do and there is a lot of information on your actual pages, but if I was looking for 'Work at Home', your site would not be one I would study. Follow ChrisGooden's advice... and I feel sure your conversions will improve.

Thanks a lot Isabella, I will slow down the slides and think about the header, besides that I will remove the jumping guy:) The bubbles are an extraction from the header pics. And no 44 is the tutorial you find beneath in the box under no 44, regarding to make a scroll box like that, I will be more precize and change the text

Yes, slowing down the slides will definitely help. The thing is I am so inexperienced that I never know what is dictated by the theme and what you can actually change. Hope that a few little tweeks to your landing page will make a positive difference.

Loes you are such a wonderful and passionate person, by the way how comes you access all these, anyway thanks

I just Google a lot, and keep my eyes and ears open for every new feature:)

Alright

G'day Loes, I looked at the site it is really good. When things aren't working then I feel just go back to basics. When I had a retail outlet I new all my customers by their first name. I think this should apply to a site. "Hi glad you could make it and welcome" as apposed to this is my site click on this this link. Sorry if I'm a bit blunt. You are obviously a very intelligent person. Iam only trying to help. I'm sure you know where I'm coming from.
Lindon

Thanks for your feedback Lindon, I have altered the welcomesmessage:) Thank you

Ah, that magic word "conversion". Turning the visitor into a customer.

I love the clever bits on your site, I must chat with you how you do some of that stuff.

Personally, I would not sign up from it because, for me, there is not enough information on that first page, and there are a lot of "distractions".

The essence of "conversion" is "single topic, single action". Every time you offer a visitor an alley to run down, he'll run down it, and not do that which you want him to do.

Think about the comments you see on this WA site - people commenting on how much time they spend following various blogs and answering various questions and not actually developing their own site.

Decide your "Most Wanted Action". Focus all your page content on that action. Spell out, in exquisite detail, your "Call To Action".

Thanks for your feedback Chris, I will see through all of my pages if there is enough "Call to action" on it:)
All the clever bits on my site you can find back on the Free Tutorials:)
I am hardly ever in chat, that's not my thing

You won't find me in chat either. I can't hack the pace.

I looked at your site Loes, and honestly if I was to land on it, I'd actually try it out.
Like I said, I'm no pro, and maybe I'm missing something.
I hope that positive energy can help, because I'm sending you a bunch of it

I'll be following the thread here.
Huggs and Blessings to you both
Joseph

Hi Joseph, thanks:) I think I need a lot of that energy, so keep sending it:) Have a nice day!

You got it Sis ;))
