I've noticed people copying your post. to be imitated is the greatest compliment.

Copying my doing or literally copying ?

A little of both. I just saw this on another blog.

Can you give the link?

I'll try to find it. It was a blog posted between February 14 and this AM. I'll keep looking.

I looked under spam, but it wasn't there. At least I didn't see it. I was going to look harder when I had more time

Maybe this one?
Don't do it!

I read that one. She was just reiterating Kyle post. There's been a little bit of copying content from the top bloggers without crediting the original blogger.

Well, it was not me. Mine is original and right out of my head.

Nice post. WA should be a safe zone. Between phone calls and emails, I get enough spam and it's so annoying even if the product was good, I'd dis it.

Hi Loes
I agree with you and Werner, if W A is ever allowed to becaome a spam platform,I would head for the hills:-). Live long and Prosper!

I've withheld some very good information from my blogs, simply to comply with the requirements. No problem for me. I utilize things that I fail to forward. Any potential income I could realize would be less than negligible. still, I'm 100% in favor of keeping this venue absolutely spam free and when it turns otherwise I'm out of here.

Hi Loes - yes I have seen myself what I would consider several spam-ish blogs lately and reported 2 of them. Not cool. Glyn

I have to disagree with No. 16.
Wealthy Affiliate is a product and there must be 1,000's of members promnoting it.
Reply
Loes Premium
I think your misunderstand this one Robert. No. #16 is talking about promoting products on WA, you can hardly say there are WA-ers promoting WA here and trying to get referrals by writing their blogs on WA or sending PM's all around promoting WA

I have to disagree Loes. It distinctly says - 16. Promoting ANY product whatsoever - it has the word - any - in upper case to ephasise the point. You have to agree that Wealthy Affiliate is a 'Product' and there's no getting round that no matter what you say.
Thanks for your comment though.
Robert

This definitely needed to brought to everyone's attention. With so many new people coming on board especially, I don't think some realize the rules concerning spamming.

This is the second post I've seen today on this kind of subject/practice/policy. Has there been some spammy self-promotion going on within the community?
Reply
Loes Premium
Yes there is, and I give this as a warning, before reporting it as spam
Reply
TheOldSilly Premium
Anyone who feels the need to self-promote within this community of students, is surely not well-equipped and savvy enough yet to do the REAL promotion globally in the marketplace. Good grief.

Is including a link to your site(s) at the bottom of your blog posts considered a no-no self promotion? I guess I COULD go back and read the terms and conditions, lol. Personally, that doesn't bother me, but spamming - receiving unsolicited promotions - that is very annoying.
