SWAG team, this is going to be an awesome 1st month!
I am very excited about the assignments we got for this month, and I am working hard to accomplish the tasks.
- Create your own brand/logo
I have already a logo and a theme I like, but Kyle suggested a simple, less distracting header, so I came up with this one. Kindly to give some feedback?With text?

Bit of blue? - I am already addicted to Canva, so no need to learn about that great program
- Menus, categories, widgets and the layout of the sidebar and the footer is in order. Perhaps I am going to change some little things to it, but it has not my priority right now.
- I have already a Gravatar account so I can skip this step too:)
- Come up with 50 Low Competition Keywords? I ♥ this assignment.
- Set up word and article goals in Site Content. That is going to be a obstacle. I have tried to use Site Content but it acts very peculiar when I try to paste my text into it. I write all my articles in Dutch, first, after that, I translate it in Google. When I use Site Content, I have to write the whole article word-for-word again. I don't like that at all!
- I have 140 posts on my website, so the minimum of 12 posts is far exceeded, but I am going to start counting from 1-1-2018. In that case, I have 7 posts now, and the 8th posts is ready to be published tonight. So 4 posts to go!
- The 12 posts should contain 12000 words, my 8 posts contain 6615 words. That leaves 5385 words to come up with on my last 4 posts.
- WA review of 1500 words [Check]
- Hmmm, I tried again, to be active in chat, it's just not something for me. And 15 minutes a day? Chat is going way too fast for me. I can not read that fast English, halfway the message it's out of sight, or jumping down.
- 1 WA blogpost and one Swag post [check]
- Help at least 5 people a day at WA [check]

Thanks for this Loes, I haven't even finished listening to the full video as I have been tearing my hair out trying to get a site that I like and be able to put my logo in easily. I have been tearing my hair out over the last 4 days and getting fed up with it now. xxx
Hi Loes, I did finally get it sorted and here is how it looks on the site. The only thing I would like to do if I could is to move the logo up a bit.
What do you think. I liked all your logo options but the one with the blue is really nice.

I am the first one. I like simple and straight forward things. People appreciate the simplicity.
FYI there is a quirk in the English language regarding negative words like "isn't" and "don't", our NLP friends believe the negative words act as a warning and stick in our heads when we read them over and above the other words. So this is the 2nd reason I prefer the first example. If you want a play on "magic" then how about "Do you want your website to make money like magic?" Learn the skills here....

I have never been active in chat and when I saw it in the list of tasks I felt really resistant but yesterday I gave it a go and it wasn't nearly as daunting as I had imagined but I agree with you, it's not my preferred way of communicating.
I like the "work at home" logo. Not sure you even need the line underneath as those words say it all in my opinion.

But if you have to alter it, I would choose teh one with the blue, makes the logo pop!!!
I'm not sure why, but I just seem to be having some issues with Canva, which really sucks because I think I really, really need it! Ahhh...but I have nothing to fear because you - no doubt - have already written training on how to use Canva!
What prob you having with CANVA Veronica? Not that I can help for sure, but have been using it for a while. :)
You know what, Nat...I think that with certain things if it doesn't click for me immediately, I just get frustrated and walk away.
I remember Jay did a webinar on Canva a few months ago, so I'll just have to view that again, but I look for you if I have any issues, Nat. Thank you!
Hi loes, Wow it looks like you really have it together. I like the logo with out words. Although the hat with words is good as as a stand alone. I don't think that you should use them together, because it gets to cluttered. But then that's just my opinion. By the way I am not doing chat either. You are doing great. I like the 1/1/18 starting date. Good advice, I think that I will try that also. :-) Frank

Love the list post Loes. Easy to read. And my favorite logo is work at home the future is yours. It’s positive and encouraging. The I CAN DO IT attitude. The other logo could be used for a post to explain how WA makes it easy. Since your site is already established, are you already getting WA leads and referrals?

Your list and accomplishments are really pushing me, and that is a good thing. If I can stay on your heel every month, I know I would overcome all tasks with more time at the end of the month. Will be watching you Loes, keep posting your results. I Appreciate You!
