How to keep your agenda clean?
It's always difficult to say no when you get an invitation for something. And most of the time we say yes, because it's an invitation for over 3 or 4 weeks.
Who then lives, who then cares
Wrong! That's exactly why your agenda is overcrowded with appointments!
Slowly but surely, you have all evenings scheduled and before you know it you will not have a free evening in a week.
Think, with every invitation you get, the follow:
Would I like to go there tonight?
- No? Then say, you can't make it, right away!
- Yes? Write the invitation in your agenda.
When you don't feel like it to go today, it's not very likely you feel like it to go to some event in about 3 or 4 weeks either. And it will negatively control your thoughts in the coming weeks.
When you would love to go somewhere right away, you will be happily looking forward to the event in about 3 or 4 weeks, and it will not be a mandatory visit.

I use to over book myself all the time and end up exhausted. Now I keep an eye on my calendar a month ahead of time so that doesn't happen.
As a lifelong introvert, I know I can only handle social outings twice a month with all of my other responsibilities and full-time job - so now I plan accordingly.
