What is the 30 days - 30 post challenge?

It's plain and simple, you write and publish 30 days in a row - 30 posts on your website - Saturday and Sunday included. You need to have completed the certification course first! Do not start unprepared, you will be in trouble around day 22. It will help you to boost your website to the TOP!

Preparation:

  • Find and write down 30 keyword phrases -subjects
  • Find pictures to go with it, and load them into your library
  • Make 30 featured images (same measure)
  • Place the 30 posts with titles in draft, with featured image and SEO
  • Write at least 3 posts in advance for unexpected delays
  • Make pretty links of all products you want to promote (Plugin-pretty link lite)
  • Plan a date to start

Daily task:

  • Write your post
  • add the pictures
  • check your SEO 25 points checklist
  • Fetch with Google Webmaster tools
  • Make at least one draft for the next day, when you have time, two drafts
  • Add ideas/phrase which come to mind for other posts in the drafts
  • Plan ahead - there will be days with a lot of time - and days with no time at all

Tasks for days with no time

  • Publish a ready to go post
  • Fetch with Google

Recipe for success

DO NOT MISS ONE DAY!

With this structure I made it to 45 - days in a row.

I have done it 3 times, and this blog arose from my experience. Before you start, do the preparations, otherwise, you get in trouble around the 20th day

Great idea for a 30-day challenge! Do you use an app/site to check in every day and say "I posted?" As in, a goal tracker.
Reply
Loes Premium
No, I haven't used an app, Noelle
Reply

Oh OK, just thought it would make me stick to the schedule better if I had something to check off.

If you have a lack of discipline it might be just the thing you need

Well I'm a list maker and a selftracking person. So I like to have data on what works and what doesn't!

I like lists too, Noelle:)
Reply

Well that's good, because lists are one of the best ways to keep organized.

Hi dear, I'm here through the link shared by Ali-M in the answer to the question of Grace 'littlemama'.

I really like the challenge and the tips. For the time being I'm not ready because I've not completed the courses. Once I'll complete the certification, I'll take up the challenge.

I challenged myself to complete a website in one month, and I did it. Then I challenged myself again to be in Top200 before reaching the end of month 3, and I did it.

Now I have a challenge to complete a niche website and at the same time to be in Top100 before Christmas.

I will surely take up your 30-days 30-posts challenge.

Kind Regards
Usiba

Thank you my dear Loes. I forgot to tell you that I'm also working on followers. I'll reach 1K very soon.

Thanks for the invitation. May be I'll take it on 3rd January, because 2nd January is my marriage anniversary.

Anyway I need to complete the tasks before end of March, God willing my new baby (3rd one) is coming end of March 2017.

Thank you again dear.

I WILL START THIS CHALLENGE.JUST ONE QUESTION.MY SITE IS OUTDOORSNWILDLIFE.COM AND I DO REVIEWS ON ALL OUTDOOR GEAR LIKE TENTS,SLEEPINGBAGS,BACKPACKS ECT SO WHAT KEYWORDS MUST I LOOK FOR TO GET MY SITE ONTOP?
Reply
Loes Premium
Keywords which are scoring high are:
5 best sleeping bags
10 best double insulated cups
7 best clean water life straws
Comparisons work great and you can paste and affiliate link to all, I once sold something out of the category "Worst toys ever"

Self metered sprints are a great idea Loes. I won't commit to this one because with over 300 posts on the predominant sprint here, I admit that sprint is a very bright shiny object at this time. When I come down from that, there are so many directions to go with site development.

This challenge is very handy for beginners to boost their site, Michael

Is there a mandatory time when you need to do a Google fetch
Reply
Loes Premium
When you do the 30-day challenge, you do this every day, to have the best benifit, but most people have set a time schedule on GWT of once a week, and Google will crawl your site automatically

45 days is not a 30 day challenge silly! But Ill take you up on this. I find I start to fall behind on images so finding all that stuff in advance before starting sounds like a great idea. Been trying to get at least 2-3 posts a day but I really need to up it for the holidays. So ill set Monday the 31st as my start date!
Reply
Loes Premium
Haha, no it isn't, Jean:)) I found that too, my first time I got overheated the last few days, because I was not prepared with subjects and images
