Hi, I just got into Course 3 Lesson 3 and I tried to find Affiliate Programs/Networks that supported video games. I searched for 6 hours straight and asked Live Chat, but no one knew the answer to my problem.

It might look like there is one simple answer, but there is not. What makes it hard is that I could not join any of Kyle's suggested Networks (Commission Junction, Clickbank, Shareasale and Linkshare), simply because because they were based in the U.S, and they asked for tax forms for U.S citizens (By the way, I am a U.K citizen), and that was a game changer, cause many popular stores such as Best Buy, Microsoft Store and Walmart use Linkshare for its associate network. What it means is that I need a EUROPEAN based Affiiate Network/Program that SUPPORTS the video gaming niche.

Also, just to be clear, I have also tried to join Amazon Associates, but they rejected me. I have tried my best and I cannot find anything better than what I did, so I am relying on you and especially the British WA members to help me find my answer. Thanks.

Yes, but it asks me information for my U.S. taxes for some reason and will not allow me to bypass it. I know that Linkshare has locations globally, which is one of the reasons I wanted to join it. I just tried to join again and it asked me for another time my U.S tax forms.

Give LinkShare UK a call and ask them for help. Or ask Beverley (BIS) she's from the UK too.

This may be moot at this point, but there is a tax form for non US citizens wishing to conduct business with US based companies. It is called a w8-BEN. You can download it on irs.gov website, fill it out, and submit to Linkshare. You may want to give that a shot if you are still struggling.

Try going directly to the source. For example Nintendo just opened up an affiliate program, try there. You could also do private deals with local businesses.

Yes, I know, but the Affiliate network of it does not allow me to join it, and that is my issue.

I stumbled upon moreniche.com and twistforum.com which I BELIEVE are based in UK. Don't know how wide the base is, but it may be a start for you.

Good luck in your search.

Hope it helps. It's a little thing, but a sure "showstopper", isn't it?

Hang in there it gets worse before it gets better. However, we have the support of the entire community. Remember the only way we can fail is if we quit!

That is true, and I totally agree with you, because something is hard, it won't make me quit it.

Call Amazon and ask why. They were pretty easy to talk to when I had to call them once. I was turned down the first time that I applied as well, so don't just give up right off the bat.
