Getting Started with WordPress
Hello WA friends,
I am busy building my first website, but I thought I'd pause and take a moment to share a helpful post I discovered on cleaning up your initial Wordpress site. Some things like "Just another Wordpress site" and page titles are added automatically for you. If you have never worked with Wordpress before, sometimes it can be difficult to understand how to tailor your website.
This is a great article that takes you through step-by-step of how to customize and tailor your website to make it your very own:

This is important because in order to earn money online and look like an authority, you do not want anything that announces that your website is brand new!
I will also share some other tips / advice that I hope you will find helpful:
1. While there are SO MANY helpful articles here, part of developing websites is knowing the right questions to ask when you are stuck. One of the very best places to find help is on Stack Overflow. When tasked with building a landing page at work, I was on Stack Overflow every day: http://stackoverflow.com/
2. Do not allow yourself to stay stuck. Even if you are easily frustrated by technology, please do not give up on your Wealthy Affiliate business because you are struggling with Wordpress! You can learn how to use it, so if you are stuck, think of it as a temporary roadblock that you will overcome with the help of this community.
3. Getting started is relatively easy, but what if you are two months in and running out of ideas to write about? Consider having a brainstorming session and writing down fifty more ideas for new posts. Take your top twenty and use them to create a content calendar and schedule what you will write about for the next month. Once you do that, you will not have to worry so much about writer's block because you will know what you are writing about next.
4. Do not worry about writing perfectly. If you are providing valuable information, then people will find value in your articles and your writing, and it stands to reason that if they find your content valuable, they will find the products you are selling valuable, too.
I hope you found these tips helpful, and I am wishing you the very best of luck with getting started on Wordpress and writing your first articles!

A great post. You just reminded me just to take it easy. Do not aim for perfection but just provide valuable information!
Yes, absolutely! Aim for value and the rest falls into place. Best wishes to you, and thanks for the kind words.
