Why I'm Grateful For WA

Hello, my wonderful supportive WA Family. I hope you are all well?

I am feeling very grateful for Wealthy Affiliate and the opportunity that it affords me more so over the last few days. This has been brought to the forefront of my mind because of the volcano erupting on a neighbouring island.

Working from home being your own boss gives us many advantages, no travel time, no traffic jams, no stress getting to and from work. We can start and stop work at will. Our productivity is down to us.

We get expert training, expert coaching, questions answered in a few seconds. A friend when we need support in other ways. What more can we ask for?

Watching the local news regarding the volcano is very sad, seeing all of that lava running all over the island and destroying everything in its path has brought home to me just how privileged I really am. It isn't due to luck it is by design.

These people have lost everything and because it is an act of god there is no insurance for them to replace anything.

We control our own futures, it's all down to us to put in the work!

What are you grateful for today?

Lisa in sunny Tenerife :-)

Lisa, my thoughts have been with you following the volcanic eruption on La Palma.
I am very happy to know that you are safe but so saddened by the destruction for so many.

You are right.
We are very blessed to be able to work and earn in the way that we do and to have the support of our WA community.

Please keep safe and well.

Cassi

Thanks very much, Cassi. We are all safe here for the moment. They are saying we could be affected by the ash cloud but no sign yet!
Have a great day :-)

You are welcome, Lisa.

We recently had an eruption in St Vincent here in the Caribbean.
Ash travelled as far as Barbados.

Enjoy your day also.

I remember that, it wasn't that long ago was it.

No, it wasn't, Lisa.

Great post, Lisa.

It is all true, we are the masters of our own lives, and whether we choose to put in the effort and make it work is entirely up to us.

We are fortunate to have found a vehicle (WA) that we can ride to the finish line. But we have to get in and drive to make it work.

Alex

Thanks very much Alex :-)

Lisa, I can't imagine looking at neighbors going through this!

Appreciation for what we have, and when we "Dodge a bullet", is the best way to move through our petty annoyances.
Today, we had another power outage, but? ...so what else is new!
We will always be going through something, but that's part of this adventure in life!
Look for the good from any bad situation. If nothing else, we learn and grow for each and everyone!
" What's supposed to happen, will happen, when it's supposed to happen." Nothing happens by mistake.
Lisa, I'm glad you're safe and maybe can be of service to those who are not.
Thank you for this reminder!
Best!
Barb

There is always a silver lining and a Brightside in my world. I totally believe everything happens for a reason. Thanks for stopping by Barb. Have a good week.
Lisa.

My power just went out again, but Ce La Vie!

Awww Bless, these things are sent to try us!

Minor hiccup in comparison. ;)

Lisa, I've been watching the news on TVE (Spanish channel) and it's terrifying to see all that damage. Thank God a lot of people were evacuated and the early warning system was able to give people a few days to get ready. Even though La Palma is a beautiful island, so I can imagine that Tenerife is equally beautiful. Stay safe Lisa.

That's right Eugene, there were over a thousand earthquakes before the eruption and many people were evacuated luckily. All of the Canary Islands are very beautiful and each one has its own unique features.
Have a great week my friend.

Hey Lisa, I am grateful for waking up each day.

As much as I am fascinated by volcanoes, I wouldn't want to be too close to one when it erupts, I too feel sorry for all those living there and for everything they have lost.

Enjoy your day my friend.:-)

Thanks for stopping by Nick. I wouldn't want to be near it either the Lava is going over 1,000ft into the air and it is running at 700 metres an hour.
Have a great week.
Lisa.
