How To Get Sign Ups And Referrals The Easy And Free Way
Hello, wonderful family. Good morning, afternoon or evening to you. I hope you are all safe and well in this uncertain time.
Lots of people in Wealthy Affiliate get referrals that join this wonderful platform but they don't have any info on their blogs or website.
Have you wondered how they do it?
It is very simple and is also FREE.
Go to any published post on Wealthy Affiliate and on a lot of the training and you will see an Affiliate button like this:
Now, this is a post from Leo and it is filled with good information that people can learn from.
You should be sharing it with your social media audience. They can come and read it learn something and will be offered the opportunity to join Wealthy Affiliate.
When you click the tab it looks like this:
I have cut part of the link off on purpose because it is an affiliate link.
The link is my personal WA link so I don't want to be accused of self-promotion!
Most People Believe Wrongly that the link belongs to the person who wrote the post and that is incorrect.
The link is yours and can be used to copy and paste onto Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn.
When posting remember to put #ad somewhere in the post
Lots of referrals are gained using this free method.
Just because your site may not have much content yet because you are only just starting out does not mean you cannot spread the word of how amazing it is to be a part of Wealthy Affiliate.
You can be in any niche and still get WA referrals and sign-ups.

Terrific reminder and acknowledgment for those who haven’t yet finished up that part of the training… actually I attribute five referrals I have received just from personal social sharing on various platforms on my personal pages to this function in the month of December.

Great tip! I have used posts from this platform in the past to get folks over to WA or to back up something else I may be promoting.
It does work, and it is free...If you have the right marketing tools you can do even more. For instance, I have a banner tool that will create a copy of the page (any page) and it will overlay a banner...
That banner can send your reader anywhere you want - to a lead magnet, a landing page, or to a product or service...On the next page(s) they end up at you can do even more...
You can capture their name and email, you can send them to affiliate promotions, or if you are using an interactive video on the page you sent them to, you can sell right from the page.
How do you pull in traffic to the page/banner? Social media, forums, blog posts, groups (i.e. Facebook), or depending on what tactics you are using, even paid ads...

I am new and just learning and read your bit about free traffic.
Do I have to be a WA affiliate first to do that?
And as far as doing what you said I don't quite get it/know what to do.
Is there a more descriptive way of explaining to newbies like me?

Just being a member of WA gives you the opportunity to be an affiliate you have your own referral link under the $ sign above.
Let's say you want to share this post we are on.
If you go to the top it says affiliate and there is a link symbol next to it. If you click it, it opens and a url link is revealed. Press copy and then go to Facebook for instance and where it says what is on your mind paste the link and this post and the image will come up hit post and then this has been shared with your Facebook audience.
