“He that rises late must trot all day.“

Benjamin Franklin. (n.d.). AZQuotes.com. Retrieved May 28, 2019, from AZQuotes.com Website: https://www.azquotes.com/quote/101985

Our statesman Benjimin Franklin wrote many very smart quotes that he shared with readers in Poor Richards AlmanacK. The publication appeared continually from 1732 to 1758. He was an inventor, known for the lightning rod, bifocals, and the Franklin stove.

I was behind in the month 1 of SAC training. Going into the first week of month 2 i have made some progress and feel like someone that woke up too late one day that Ben Franklin wrote about the needs to trot all day.

I believe that I will make it. I changed my photo today as a result of watching Vickie3 training:

I want to be honest and up front with the onward and upward path.

Thanks,

Larry

Hi Larry.

Remarkably true. I'm already an hour behind where I wanted to be.
Sigh. This self-discipline thing isn't easy at all!

"The advertising marketplace is moving rapidly into digital videos. We know that by 2018 it is estimated that it will be a $12.2 billion business. We've been seeing the agencies combine their digital video spend with television spend and put it under one spend and just calling it "video." The pool of money is becoming much bigger. The comparisons between television and digital video are being made much more often because you can account for who's watching, you can't fast-forward through the commercials. There's a much more intimate relationship with someone watching digital video.

Good ole' Ben -- he was a good 'un. I especially like his philosophy of "everything in moderation."

Great post! Benjamin Franklin's wisdom is timeless; he set standards for excellence for himself at a young age and worked continuously and actively at improving himself in every way. You have inspired me to (re-) read his 13 Virtues.

“He that rises late must trot all day.“

This reminds me that I am determined to get to sleep earlier so that I can wake up early enough to get my workout/exercise done early, BEFORE getting everyone up for school.

In the world of the internet (and internet marketing) I find that it is tempting to just keep working late into the night/wee morning hours. In Benjamin Franklin's day, we would have blown out the candles and gotten a good night's sleep.

Here's to a good night sleep, and to a refreshing and productive early start to the day tomorrow!
