Are the columns SEO Title, SEO Description, and SEO Keywords on the posts and page areas worth filling out or is all the SEO taken care of by the All in One SEO Plugin?
Yes fill them ALL out. For the title, match what you wrote, the description is a short caption. Then the keywords - go nuts. Use all the key words of your site, you, and what you wrote. The more that match the better. Think of what people are writing into the google search bar. Example for a dating site: online dating, online dating site, dating online, online dating advice, dating advice online, etc. Fill that out for as much as you can, each post, and each page.
Thanks for the advice. This will help a lot. Can't wait to see my ranking jump on Google because of this.
SEO also likes back links, and content. So if you can put your website up on other places - social media, other people's sites etc that helps a lot. Think of every other place you are on the web and put your website URL there too! The content piece is easier, the more your site is updating the more real it looks to google etc. Not to mention how old the site is, and how long you are registering/hosting for. So brand new site for only 1 year hosting looks like it isn't going to stay awhile. Don't worry about that now! There is nothing wrong with being new. Show them you are here to stay:)
I have a SEO optimazation lesson on my website if you are interested http://workathomefuture.com/search-engine-optimization-keyword-lesson
I read through your lesson. Very informative and I have already put your teachings to use on my site.

I would like some honest feed back from the community on my site. I know that it is still in the works but I would like some feed back on what I have now to see if I need to ch
Hi Lance off to a good start, Loes is right...some images need to be fixed, shouldn't show as a link. Looks like some other good suggestions here as well. :))
Nice clean looking website, perhaps a few more pictures would help, you are doing a good job and I do like that theme
I like the way you did the writing, but I agree with the other there is to much white showing,
You have it laid out well, easy to navigate and read.
It needs a proof read and ike everyone else says, widgets in the white space.
Great job! :)
Hi Lance. the look is great, clean and easy to navigate.
Lost your site on several pictures - add an intern link/ extern link open in new tab or set "none"
And like rufat says, add some widgets/ posts/ category
I am not a native English speaker, so the grammar I leave up to professionals.
Greetings Loes
Good and clean site but i think it would make a sense to add widgets, such as featured posts, comments etc. to fill the space on site and make it more engaging.
Hi there... congratulations on the work!!! I think it looks good and really loved your "Teen" area... never seen that before... then again, I'm new here. Going to suggest it to my stepteen...
So I have a knack for finding grammatical errors... though I don't always catch my own... lol... Do you want me to tell you? Since you mentioned you are still working on the site it may not make sense... but I'll be happy take a look at it when you think it's "more" complete... if you want.
Cheers!!

Thanks for the feed back! Yes it is still a work in progress and was just wanting a little feed back to make sure that I was on the right track. Lol I'm sure that there are some grammar errors as I tend to think faster than I can type. Once I get it cleaned up I message you again and have you take another look.
Since I'm still on lesson nine, I'll only comment on what I've been taught thus far through WA.
I like your About Me page because it is 1)honest 2) believable and 3) easy to relate to. You tell a story of your life that encourages readers to reflect on their own to see if maybe they need to change what they do and how they do it. You mention a lack of vacations, children wanting to spend more time with their parents, and making only enough money to make ends meet, which are challenges that many readers will quickly identify with and/or understand. Good job painting a picture of life that others will surely appreciate.
The one constructive piece of feedback I will give you concerns the lack of white space on the page; this made the post appear very heavy with text. You may want to break up large blocks of text with spaces and possibly bold headings that will transition readers through the post.
Overall, good work and good luck with your site!
Thanks this was exactly what I was looking for. I will make the changes that you have suggested and see how it looks. This is my first site and am still getting the hang of how to lay it all out so it looks appealing.

Looking for people's preference on what is a good tool to measure site stats and why. Need to setup a way to monitor stats so I can see who and where traffic is being driven fr
Google analytics and webmaster for me, initially because that's what's in the training here. :)
I use Statcounter.com also. It can be free or you can pay to get more info than the free stuff but I find it very good and have used it for about six years now. Hope this helps.
Google Analytics and Webmasters tools gives you all kinds of stats. What countries they are from, what topics they follow, how many are male/female....ages...good stuff there. :))
There are a lot of great plugins for that. Just click "Add new plugins" in your website dashboard and you can see there are a lot of stat plugins you can install. Install a bunch and see which one you like best!

About how long on average have people seen that they have to wait before they start to see commissions from their sites.
There really is no equation that can answer your question, as every body is different, there are no certainties in business, none!!
Its all up to you
Wishing you much success
Barry
Thanks for the comments. I know that I have a lot of work to do to make it work. Lol i'm a numbers kind of person and was just curious about what to expect. Thanks for the helpful info.
As I know from other successful WA members it takes about from 12 to 18 months to start making money.
Only a few months for me Lance, but like dave mentioned people move at different speeds and have different approaches so results do vary.
It can vary a lot. Most of the reliable stuff I've read says you have to be prepared to work at a site consistently for 6 months to a year before making reasonable money.
Thanks for the input I was just curious more than anything. I still have quite a bit of work to do but am excited for the day that I can make a sale!

As I know from Kyle, he recommends to choose one keyword per page.
