You can always customize your menus:
Login to your website.
Go to Customize --> Menus --> Main Menu
To add your own Tab Titles:
Click on 'Add Item'
Click on 'Custom Link'
In the 'URL' box, enter a #
In the 'Link Text' box, enter your desired Tab Title, such as 'Tennis Advice'
This is assuming that you mean to add several posts under the Tab. Otherwise, you would just create your post or page and add it to the menu as it's own Tab, if that makes sense.
Hopefully that is what you were asking :-)
Yes, I do it on my drone site. Take a look at https://mavicmaniacs.com and let me know if that's what you're talking about.
If so, I can help you set that up.
wow, I would love to know how you set that up. I like the pictures scrolling along the header, I like the neatness of it all, its clear and easy to navigate. I know I didnt ask the question but I am always interested to see how others do it and yours it great.. :)

Hi, yes I know exactly what you are meaning. To start it you need to put up your main pages in your menu then within your pages you need to create categories.
So you have your initial heading on your menu then under that you want to create your categories. The best way to do this is to create a new page for each category heading and then put this under your menu heading. After that you can put your posts under the right category. You can have more than one category under your menu heading.
I will do a screen shot to let you see what I mean ok.

I'd like to move all my blog content to one website instead of having several different domains. Has anyone done this and will it mess me up on Google?
Thanks.

I've written several posts, but have noticed not all have indexed with google. Actually, one post is three months old. Did I forget to do something?
The only reason that Google should not index them in time would be if they are a blatant duplicate. Most of mine index overnight but I did have one that other week that took a month to index even though I had requested it so some do take time...
All original so maybe need to look at content... maybe keywords aren't placed right?
Thanks for helping. Linda
I always submit the URLs of my posts to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools as soon as I create them. They are normally indexed within a few hours.
Just to be clear, you DO mean indexed, not ranked?
Indexed simply means that your website, page or post has been crawled by Googlebot and included in its database. If you enter your post's URL into GSC, it will tell you whether or not it's indexed and invite you to submit it if it's not or resubmit it if it's changed.
Ranking means where your post appears in the SERPS for a particular keyword. So it's not an absolute and can vary over time, location and be different for different keywords.
When you click the "Publish" button in WordPress it normally takes Google a few days before they index your content.
This process is for those who have already set up and registered their website in Google Webmaster Tools, which is now called Google Search Console.
If you type site: + your URL it will take you to a list of your posts and pages that have been indexed. On top of that page, you'll see a link to Google Search Console.
Then you'll see the activity of your site.
Hope this will helps you out.
Jacqueline
