Core “Business Start Up” Training

I would really like to add to my post a video I took today. It keeps telling me that the file is too large. There has to be a way compress the file so that I can post the video

I uploaded to it youtube, and the rest was a breeze. Thanks guys!

You Tube is clearly the vehicle of choice!

As ThomasPaul has advised it's best to upload the video to YouTube. You can select to have the video "unlisted" if you prefer.

The best thing to do would be to start a youtube channel for your website, upload the video to Youtube, and then embed that video on the page you want it. Leoemery has some good Youtube training on here.

How do I upload a video to my post?

Does "following" add some benefit? Can you only private message people that you follow or something like that?

Featured Comment

Notifications of all you do here are only send to the people who are following you, the more people are following you, the more people will get notified about your posts, questions and perhaps in the future, your training.

The posts are Google indexed, and every activity on your post will be noticed by Google. And when Google pushes your post up, you get more people visiting from outside WA. Everyone who decides to become a member via your post will automatically be your WA referral.

Questions, directly send over to your followers will get direct attention and quick answers.

Training watched and liked by people will result in higher payments, because for created training, you get paid for every like, watch and share.

Hope this explains to you the worth of following people and get followers here at WA

What if my site is about another niche and not WA?

Your site is totally separated from the WA Forum, the blog here has nothing to do with your website ranking, it's another opportunity

It does not matter

Following people, and having them following you helps in your WA ranking and the amount of blogs and questions that come to you for help...

Hi, Leah. Following people is all up to you. My feeling is I then can get information or ideas from them that I might not see or think of otherwise. It does make it difficult because it ups the number of blogs you get to unmanageable. So you need to find a way to manage that to suit you. However, we are here to network and you can only network if you get out there. Like all things, it has its advantages and disadvantages. God Bless shary

If you follow people you can use a filter at the top of your activity dashboard called "Friends" just to see those posts. You might also get emails from WA when the people you follow make blog posts, etc.

That's about all I can think of. If you don't want to use the feature you don't have to.

Thanks! I just couldn't figure out how to distinguish people I follow from people I'm not yet following. Like on Facebook you get a newsfeed of all the people you are friends with. I just couldn't figure out the equivalent here in this situation.

Thanks! That was what I was looking for!

I'm glad I could help you out!

I'm not a big fan of how they set it up here. I would much rather be given the option to exclude people from my activity feed, primarily the people that tend to blog and post a lot, but it's not really related to IM or online business.

Hi I just read your question and yes because we need each other ,to help when we get stuck. I am only 4 days in and have got to know a few members. Remember, every one is here to help each other and until i did connect, I found people like me. and the help just flowed in

Cheers

Mary

Leah,

I think the main benefit is interacting with people. You can use private messaging, but it is not a replacement for following people.

When your website is online, you should have an immediate network of followers that you accumulated on WA.

Following will also be helpful for marketers who will need to interact with prospective buyers to clinch the sale. Learn it first at WA instead of by on the job training.
