Jun'18 Results - $2.9K Woohoo!

I almost can't believe that number! I've waited so long to see this number!
I had set a goal to hit $2K in 6 months when I started here, so I'm a little late in the game but I made it!!! I have reached that goal!
Here are some quick stats:
* 470+ posts
* 1,968 users/day (new record)
* 37,578 users for June
* 44,290 sessions for June
* email subscribers just under 7,000
June Tip: Niche Related News
Blog about your industry's news, it works for bringing in high traffic. I did that when MOBE got shut down by FTC and I blogged about it even while I was on vacation in Mexico in June.
I had to do it so I can capture that traffic, and it worked! That's how it got my new record of almost 2K users that first day and getting over 30 referrals a day for it.
I've also done this at least a couple of times and each time I did that, my traffic kept higher than before I blogged about the news so it's worth doing this as well as giving you something to blog about.
My Results Don't Dictate YOURS
I sure hope not, I hope you get way faster results and much more than me.
I have said time and time again that there are plenty of members here who make this kind of money way faster (like make $4K in 7 months or $1-2K by 11-12 months) and it all depends on your niche, what keywords you use, and how much you grow your site (how much hard work you put in).
The best advice I can offer you is use keywords with AVG (searches) > 50 and QSR < 50, this makes your posts way easier to rank and the key to getting traffic.
No, you do NOT need 470+ posts to make $2K, I've seen plenty of people making this much with way less posts like in the 60's or 70's so don't freak out and feel that this is any indication that you will have to work sooooo long to hit your goals, but I do.
No, you do NOT need 470+ posts to make it to Vegas in my niche, but I do.
I could only do me, I can't do anyone else, so if it has to take me this long to make this much money, I'm cool with it.
My Last Update
Before I go, I just want to mention that this is my journey that I'm documenting, it's not to show off but to let you know what's possible even for a slow one like me.
It's no secret I don't have the best conversion rate and no I didn't earn a lot in my first year and a half here, but why I still blog about it here is to show members who are still struggling that it's still possible to make a good amount of money if you just keep at it and keep at it hard.
I was notified that maybe I shouldn't share so much of my slow stats but I feel this is the best way for me to give back to the community that provided me with so much inspiration and motivation to keep chugging along until I'm able to blog about my milestones and successes.
Taking a year and a half (back in March for me) to hit 4 digits is reasonable I feel, but that's just me.
This is just ONE case of many successes here and you can gage when you'll be able to do the same.
Everyone's situation is different but if a slow one like me can make it to $2K/month, you can too and gives hope to others.
But anyway, I had earlier decided that this would be my last monthly update until I hit bigger milestones. :)
To those who can benefit from my posts here, I thank you for coming to read them, and I hope it's beneficial to you.
Hopefully I will have bigger news in my next update sometime in the near future.
Grace
I believe that your sharing of your stats is very good for those who question why they haven't made any money, or made less money than they hoped for.
I read a post by one of our premier members who is making $100,000/month. That is not a typo.
From my perspective, that's all well and good for him, but that's not what interests me. What interests me are successes like yours and Roope's. People who didn't know how they would make money, but believed they would.
By showing us your stats from last year compared to this year, you let us know to have faith in ourselves, and in our training. That to me is more important than how much money a person earns.
Chuck
We all have to find our own strategies but reading about what works for you (or anyone else who's successful) at least gets my own creative juices flowing!
So, thanks.
CherylK
Reason why I am following you and have read several of your posts while training and building content. Take care,
Bill
I am just now realizing why I never could do this
before and actually put together a fully functional and profitable website. I'm sure, just like many others that some of us think that it is an easy task to actually see some income from our online adventures and what happens when we find out the amount of effort, hard work, and serious dedication is involved, we give up !!
Especially without the knowledge, motivation, and assistance from people like you and the whole community here at WA, creating an online business would seem almost impossible without having the necessary training. I really like the fact that you take the time to explain how this is not easy and doesn't happen overnight. The fact that you share all that you have been through to get to where you are at now, eliminates any pre-assumed expectations and gives us the motivation and inspiration to stick with it and work hard if we really want to make it. At least we will think twice about giving up... It does take time serious dedication.
Congratulations on your progress and may you continue to prosper on an exponential rate. God bless you and thank you...
Sharing this with those who are working hard and aspiring to reach similar achievements takes courage. Most of us look at our financials as a private matter. But since we are for the most part in this for the income and adventure, I think sharing one's success should be NORMAL.
The best for your continued success here at WA and beyond !
Joe
Second, I think you made the correct choice in sharing your "slow" progress. It's real. It's reality.
Members need to know not everyone will make decent money in 6 months or a year. There are so many factors that play a role.
Thanks-you for sharing & once again well done!
I love that you are proud of your efforts and I look forward to reading more and more of your posts for years to come.
Good luck my friend :)
A lot of other members blog about how many visitors they have had, number of referrals, how many blogs they have written or number of words, but ultimately, we are all looking at making money here. Thus we look for financial stats more than anything else!
It is nice to see that you are somebody who does not mind sharing their income and to be honest, once i start making money, I will not mind sharing this info either. Just like you give motivation with this information to many within the community, I want to show my financial stats to newbies so they can also rest assured that the training here works!
Keep up the great work and wish you much more success and the financial freedom that you are looking for!
I personally think its great that you share your progress it not only validates how anyone can be successful and reach their goals, and dreams!
So POST ON with your amazing accomplishments, growth and success!
Keep up the great work! Be proud of what you've accomplished! You are an inspiration to so many!

Your email list growth is also very impressive! What are the best tips that you would give for building an email list fast like you?
By the way, I am just watching Jays webinar about sending blog posts through RSS feed and scratching my head why I havent been doing this before. I guess it gives a lot of traffic to the blog over the time course to send the blog posts automatically to the list.
What do you think?
Any empire worth building takes time to build... You built a solid foundation, both of knowledge and of posts...and now look at your leaps month on month!
I am loving seeing the exponential growth. And am super happy to see you not only met your $2k goal but smashed through it to make nearly $3k last month!! That must have been such a thrill for you!
Thanks for sharing that fabulous tip. And Thanks for sharing your stats, I find them hugely encouraging and inspirational.
PLEASE don't feel threatened or discouraged by other's insecurities about your success. Don't listen to their "advice" either. Jealousy makes people nasty - don't pay attention.
I read something the other day that we can all take to heart, it said:
"We can all benefit by taking a cue from the weather - it pays no attention to criticism." ;-)
Just like you are doing "you" and can't do anybody else, what you are sharing will threaten some and inspire others -- focus and keep on inspiring those who want to be inspired! ;-)
Your money posts - as well as those of Jerry Huang - is a HUGE inspiration to me and Hubby! On days when we feel discouraged, we look at each other and say: "If Grace and Jerry can do it..." ;-) We are much slower than you, so don't worry, you just keep going girl - we are cheering you on big time! ;-)
You are really doing amazing work - you are such an inspiration! I can't begin to tell you. We are looking forward to reading about your successes, what works for you and what didn't. Since we learn so much from you!
Keep up the good work, we wish you much success!

We've got to meet somewhere between the US and KSA (hopefully, not in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean) to share a glass of champagne.
Think you're slow? If you're a tortoise, I'm definitely a three-toed sloth (the slowest animal in the world). I became a premium member in July 2016 but just hit three figures this month, with 75 blog posts on my main website and 37 on my secondary website.
You did well! I'm glad you're open about your progress and how long it took you to get here.
All the best,
Arline :)
Thanks for your support and encouragement and once again, I'm so happy and excited for you!
Cora
People like me need people like you to share your stories so we don't get too overwhelmed and throw in the towel. Thank you for your inspiring words.
Congratulations on reaching your goal!!!
Jessica
I'm sad I won't be getting any more of your monthly updates (which I look forward to) until you reach your 'milestone'. I see nothing wrong with revealing slow stats... I have that and I'm happy to know I am not the only one that has slow stats.
Everything you wrote here is filled with much encouragement and I truly thank you for all your advice here and in my PM.
I hope you hit your milestone in this month, that way I get to read about it. (I wish I could put in a happy face).
Thank you Grace,
Monica
Cheers,
Oscar
Many of us can't work on our site full time and understanding that might might take a year or more to start seeing results is just logical.
I'll freely admit at the 6 month mark I just gave up for a solid month because I wasn't seeing any traffic. I got back to it and started finally seeing things at 9 months. I love case studies that are grounded in truth and the norm instead of the black swans!
Thanks for sharing Grace!
Anyways... keep going and i hope to see you in vegas as well!
I love it when I reach a goal and get to set a new from there
Of course I don’t know what anyone’s goal set is I see ur well on ur way
An I’m happy for you Again CONGRATULATION
Being at this part-time, it actually brings me to hope that by keeping at it, I will get there eventually!
Slow stats or not they are YOUR stats and to me, they are looking awesome!
I just received my first payment from WA this July 1st, and it did get me to be a lot more enthusiast about doing more! A little money will always give some push right? :)
And reading blog posts like this only proves that IT IS POSSIBLE!!!
Congrats on your new milestone Grace! Please keep us posted on your success, all it does is help! :)
Take Care
Denis
To me, a slow and steady progression equals a strong foundation and thorough understanding of what works and what dosen't.
Also, it helps those of us who are in the same situation to keep the faith and keep going, thanks for being honest and true. Wishing you more and more success!
Now that I see a realistic testimony I want to keep hitting the ground running! My goal was 5k, but I didn't know how long it takes. I have a goal/scheduler planner. And I am writing out my schedule. It looks like I will finish my level 5 training in less than a month. At the rate I am going, it is taking me 2 months to finish my training. And probably another two months to make a little money. So I already knew off the bat that I probably won't make anything the first 4 months, and I was okay with that. I just want to be real with myself. So I am slow, not because I'm lolly gagging but because that's all I am allowing for myself because I am a mother and I don't want to neglect my child.
So I put in about 30 hours a week. And I am happy about it. I'm a little bit of a slow learner, especially when parts of the training doesn't have a video attached for visual aid. haha
So I think a great goal for me is to make my first 1K with in 1 year. I really do believe in myself! Just needed a realistic testimony!
Anyways, thank you!
And I want to follow you. Thank you for being YOU!
All the best
Jeff
I always enjoy reading your posts and want to congratulate you on your success!!!
You may say you are slow but I think success comes to those who are patient and wait for it. It has it own timeframe, which is perfect for each person. Be it 4 months for some or years for others. What I do know is that WA does work!!!
Again congrats Grace!!!
Tried and True
Elaine
Our heartfelt congratulations to you. Your hard work is paying off and you are so gracious to help the rest of us with your advice.
Wishing you always and ever the best!
Definitely keep posting your progress reports and stats. Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise, especially because it's YOUR journey and it's encouraging the rest of us. Great job!
I'm surprised at someone telling you not to post your slowish results. If anything your path is very inspiring as it shows the determination and persistence that you have put in.
I look forward to your $10K a month post coming before the end of this year!!! :-)
As always, Grace, you are such an inspiration. Thank you for your transparency. I appreciate it because it gives me motivation AND I can celebrate with you in your successes.
Congratulations on a job well done. Keep up the excellent work.
Yvette
Whoever told you not to share your slow rate of success is WRONG. Everyone here at WA needs to see that success comes at different rates for different people but what matters is persistence.
If you keep it up, you'll get there - and that, I feel, is exactly what you're trying to tell people.
Thank you for the honesty in each of your posts - members need to see REAL results, not exceptional ones. If people only went by the success of those lucky / determined / very skilled few that earn $4k in their 4th month, they'd give up when they don't see the same results.
Have an awesome day (assuming it can get any more awesome). :)
One thing you are doing about showing how long it takes - slow or fast - is you are keeping it so real. And that is what I love! Well done to you.
You know, if it takes me 3/4/5 years to get to what you have made then it will be better than those that quit after 6 months here and whom continue to chase the shiny red ball, that seems to keep getting away. All I say is good luck to them.
I always like seeing your updates, it just shows what is possible for all of us!
Again, congratulations Grace, you deserve it!
And thanks for the great tips. They are really motivating and will help a lot of members.
Looking forward to your next big update!
I've read some of your recent posts and I am very happy for you.
This also tells me that there is hope for me as well, and I find it very inspiring.
I wish you a lot of your success and that you reach all the stars you dream for.
-Hekuran
Sharing all those figures like how many posts and traffic you have, really help us who are new to have a rough idea of what to expect. And the most important thing I get is, as long as you don't give up and keep committing to your hard work, the result will come sooner or later.
By the way looking at 470 posts in 22 months, which average of more than 5 posts per week, that is considered quite a lot for me as a newbie. I just wonder how much time on average that you spent on a weekly basis to produce your content, which include your research and writing the post itself.
I would like to wish you all the best and hope to your next milestone sharing in near future.
Cheers!

And I disagree with people saying about not documenting slow results - there are way too many people trying to show only the bright side of internet marketing, freelancing, digital nomadism etc...
People need to realize that:
1) everyone's results are different;
2) you can't expect good results without the work you put in. I just find that being transparent about both successes AND failures works better.
But maybe that's just me, I prefer not to look at the world through rose-tinted glasses ... doesn't mean I don't welcome positivism though ;)
Once again congrats on your achievements! I think I'll speak for everyone here when I say that you're a HUGE inspiration to us! :)
I have been trying that with my website. I'm focusing on organic health products and I've been trying to do posts related to the news. I wrote one last week about plastic bags and linked it back to fabric bags and organic produce at supermarkets not needing plastic. I'm almost at the stage of adding affiliate links into my website! :)
I love to read your posts I think you are amazing and of course they inspire me and many more no doubt. There is no quick buck to be earned unless of course we win the lottery. Your here to inspire and help us all along.
Inspiration, you give us, and the strength that we need to carry on.
You are one in a million and I am so happy to read your posts.
Looking forward to reading more of your posts here Grace.
Thankyou your time is precious you are brilliant.
Awesome post as always. You go Girl. :))
Debs :)
It is interesting that you say that everyone's situation is different Grace, I very much agree with you on this. There are certain things we have to do to make money but we can also put their own mark on to our websites and still make similar results! Think the main thing is though consistency and this is something that you are doing.
I'm looking forward to hearing about your next success story.
Enjoy your day.
Roy
