It would not let me create an account either???
if you go to search for the plugin as though you were going to add it if you look at the bottom of the icon on the right it will say whether it is compatible with your theme.

Is this not compatible with my theme?

Jetpack is a plugin not a theme. Themes control the way your website looks, plugins add extra functions to your website. You can't use Jetpack at WA with ANY theme.
@MarionBlack sorry to ask a silly question is it possible to still use the theme without the plugin?
thank you Marion, I have found one that does not use that plugin! sorry for all the questions x

for people to get to your website, follow you on Instagram and Facebook
Did the solution I sent to you work? let me know and if not we will come up with something else ok :-)
For following you on Instagram and Facebook you can place your links on your About Me page of your website.
As for social media and depending on your niche you should seek out relevant Groups within Facebook like I explain at the link below. I do this all the time because I am sharing my links to a targeted audience. How to Use Facebook for Social Media Marketing - What I Do You can also create a clickable widget and place it within the sidebar of your website. This widget can link to your social media accounts, to an affiliate link, or any other link, see link below. How to add your picture & a clickable widget to the sidebar
If you have a look at mine Lisa I put all
My contact details at the bottom of every blog including a link so they can get a blog like mine. It's a Ray Higdon trick
You can share your affiliate link anywhere you can tweet it you can put it on Instagram although it has to be in your Biro because if you remember there is no other clickable links in Instagram and you can share it on Facebook and share it with friends as a message I will be covering all this in the Facebook group later when I can't finish the videos
You use your main URL, i.e., www.mydomainname.com and you post it on your own Instagram account, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Thank you but also on my blog should I have a contact page so I can put my links for Facebook Twitter and Instagram etc?
You can, there are plug-ins that will allow you to do that, I don't use them, however, so I can't tell you which ones. I would put them on your about me page, you can always just type out the links or provide your username.

it's not a theme issue. Jetpack is (allegedly) so bad it's been banned from WA.
Oh ok how n. So not use that theme then?!?
