If I cancel my subscription how long do I have to move my website and transfer the domain?
Hi
For any websites hosted here, you need arrange alternative hosting for your website before your subscription ceases as you would be locked out the platform, site support back ups are only available for 60 days.
You can never revert back to being a starter.
I also suggest you backup your sites, you can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended
.
Also domain names must have passed the grace period of 60 days.
To cancel subscription

Scroll to bottom and cancel billing.
Thanks. I am aware of the 60 day domain thing. I am having trouble asking this question in a way that gets me a definitive answer. I do not need to back up my site. I have a whole new site ready and waiting for me. I just need my domain name to go with it. But I cannot transfer the domain name until after July 31. I am not using my site at at wealthy affiliate. I am trying to avoid paying $49 tomorrow for another month just to keep my domain name. I own the domain name. How can I transfer it on August 1 if I cannot get into my website here? It seems a waste of $49 when I paid to renew the domain already but am just paying $49 so I will be able to transfer the domain after the 60 days.
Is this a domain name you purchased from Wealthy Affiliate? Even so, Can you not just redirect your nameservers to your new site?
I'd be very interested to know how you get on, a I am currently thinking of moving a site.
Thanks for your answer. I cannot transfer the domain name because I renewed it less than 60 days ago and you cannot transfer your domain name for at least 60 days after a renewal.
I'm not sure about that Linda. But I'd recommend that you download your website as back-up before you cancel.

Hey Linda,
Here's Kyle's word on this: What happens to my hosting if I cancel my membership at wa? You CAN take your backup file of your website with you so you can easily restore your website whenever you decide to become active again.
Hope you find this helpful.

I recently signed up for the Google Webmaster tools. I have put 3 posts into the search console to fetch and render, and I have gotten a "partial" result on all of them. When I
I don't think the banner should be a problem.
Have banners and links on each and every page/post can be a problem. Since it is in the sidebar I don't think so.
I also have mine in the sidebar to save me from putting in the pages and posts.
Yes I do.
However all the links are not external links.
I've heard that we need to put many internal links.
I doubt the banners are the cause.
But first off you should never Fetch and Render. You only want to do Fetch.
Secondly, the only way I know of where an affiliate banner and affiliate links will harm your rankings, is if you have multiple links on every page. This does not include the side bar, but too many there could also be problematic.
Ok, can you elaborate a little? I do not have links on every page or post of my site, but I have been putting quite a few links in my last few posts. The reason is that there are so many different products I was talking about in the posts.
For example, in my latest post, it was about cruelty-free foundation. I wrote a description about several different brands of foundation and included information about price and where to buy. For every one of these, when I said where to buy, I created an affiliate link, and I also put the links from amazon in picture form so they could see a picture of each product and if they click on the picture, they have clicked an affiliate link to either Amazon, or to one other affiliate company. Do I need to do this differently or not do it at all?
It the post had only been about one product, I would have only had 2 or 3 links in the entire post linking to the same product.
Thanks for your help!

Does changing your post title after publishing change your permalinks? I have always been told that you should never change your permalinks because it will create problems and
I agree Paul, changing the title does not change the permalink. I have changed titles before without affecting the permalink. The only thing that happens is that your permalink will no longer match your title.
I agree with Robert to in that it is not desirable to have a different permalink to your title. So if u can avoid it then great, if not u will take a small hit to your ranking on that particular post.
The ideal situation is to have your keyword in your title, in the first paragraph, somewhere at the end and in your permalink for best ranking results.
Paul no disrespect but the title becomes the permalink so of course it can be affected if you change it.
You should read my blog and follow the links as well.
Hope you're having a great Sunday.
Robert
Hi Robert non taken my friend but once in place and posted you can change the title and the permalink is not changed
That's why I gave the link to Leo's video.
Get it right before you publish then there's no need to change either the title or the permalink.
In Kyles first trainings he outlines this and that's why so many newbies get it wrong.
They go in and change after they have published coz when they do then their original title will still be seen in the listings.
I'm off home now so maybe catch you another day.
Have a great week.
Robert
I always thought that regardless of when you changed your title, the permalink changes too. xx
I see what you are saying. If you change the title after publishing the permalink does stay the same and the title appears in any listings as it did when you first published it, so no need to even change it!
Thanks. I may just leave the title as is. It is just too wordy with a couple of words I don't think I need, but the meaning would still be the same. Good to know though, that the permalink is not changed. Though the title changes the permalink remains. I guess that is why it's called a permalink? You would have to manually change the permalink itself I suppose, which you do not want to do!
Hello Linda
Please read a blog I published last week.
It will put you on the right track and please do watch the videos. Does Your Title Describe Your Article Enjoy your Sunday.
Robert
Thanks. I am just too much of a perfectionist. The title describes my article, but I think I just have it too wordy..could leave out a couple of words. I probably won't change it...I will check out the blog though!
