I was checking out my XML Site map on one of my websites and was amazed at how many links were indexed. My question is what does that mean. I am watching the training video now

I have a lot of learning to do! that must be a plug in you installed to check where visitors a comming from I'm guessing

Check out your theme. Some free themes are loaded with backlinks (or in some cases malicious code as well) in the code of the theme.
Most free themes are safe, but some are definitely not.

WOW!!! Thanks for asking that, Linda didn't even know that was possible someone hijacking your site.

Me neither Carol. But I'm going to check it out. 346 posts? Maybe? I am prone to write a lot. But it still calls for some looking into.

Yes, good luck, let me know what happened.

Thanks, for sure.

That means that you have 346 posts/pages on your site, if you don't, you need to explore what the links are to see if sites are highjacking your traffic.

Yeah, Ok. Thanks, I'll check it out. How can I check? By clicking on the links?

Yes, if you don't recognize the links, you'll have to do some clean-up.

A friend in India wants to become a premium member, do they have to convert their Premium payment into American, or is it done automatically?

Also, expanding that questi

If your friend signs up to WA (or indeed anything that is US based), the payment will always be taken in USD - this is via credit/debit card and Paypal or similar.
The payment in USD will be shown on bank/card statements in the home currency, converted at the rate on the date and time the transaction took place.
Current exchange rate (26 January 9.30am GMT) is
1 USD = 67.98 Indian Rupees.
Terry

Thanks a lot for this information Terry. :)

Hullo Linadz and welcome to WA. I am only new but I am sure if you pay via credit/debit card or Paypal the conversion will be done for you. All the best:)

Hi Linda .. I conduct business in South East Asia and India.

I suggest you only quote prices in the currency of payment. Don't do conversions. Currency exchange rates fluctuate a lot. Because of the change in administration in USA there is a lot of uncertainty about the $US hence is will vary day by day in value in foreign markets. Same for India, recent actions by the Indian Government have lead to a lot of uncertainty about the Indian Rupee.

Uncertainty is not bad and not good .. it just means the rate with respect to other currencies can change a lot.

Everyone in this region knows the US $ value in their own currency so it is not a problem to quote prices that way.

By quoting in the currency of payment the person cannot "blame you" for quoting X Rupees when it is now Y Rupees.

Cheers, William.

Wow, Awesome information and great information William. I surely appreciate the enlightenment. So the system is pretty much self explanatory. But I should not do any calculations because of frequent fluctuations. I understand. Thank you soooooo much!!! :)

Cheers, Linda

I am from India and a premium member of WA for more than 15 months.

He/she needs to pay through credit card or PayPal account. I pay through my credit card. The deduction will be converted to Indian currency automatically.

There are no big issue. Very easy.A 5 yrs old child can do it too.

Lol. Ok. Thank you Anand.

He/ she would choose the country when paying in payment section and it will be converted into proper currency

Thanks Philip. I know of figured that it automatically coverages currency into the proper form when new members join. I was actually just trying to be as informative as possible.

I suppose it's good business to at least know how how it's going to cost them. Well, I found out that If the option to join as a Premium member is available for people in India to join, but they have to join as a Premium member, the converted currency amount is ,(if the option to join first 30 days free is $19, then their cost is r1295.5910 and if they must join at the full price of $49 monthly that the cost will then be r3341.2610.
These calculations came from a conversion table app that I Google searched. I am not too sure if the pricesame are different for them other than by it being in a different currency.

The rate for the American and Canadian dollar looks to be around .015 About 1&1/2 cents!

Would you suggest that I do my own calculation coversion and give the person some form of response? Maybe I should. Find out exactly how much Indian Rupee this prospect would have to pay to join as a Premium member... Thankso Michael.

A friend of mine is interested in WA, but lives in India. Can they still use the Siterubix platform to build a website?

Site Rubix is a premium feature , so available to all premium . Bring from India your friend will have to join as a premium member. Huge potential market.

Everyone I know on here in US, Canada, S America, Europe, S E Asia Australia etc etc is OK to use Siterubix. I can't think of any reason why our friends in India would not qualify.
Terry

New but learning

Since Site Rubix is part of WA. I would say these countries are excluded!

They told me that there is an option that they could join but they have to join as a Premium member. They are considering it as we speak.

Yes this is true, they can join as a premium member!

I live in the Netherlands and am using WA websites with pleasure! So, yeah, it is possible.

Ok because from what I understand is that these countries, cannot use WA. EGYPT, INDIA, PAKISTAN, Nigeria, Philippines and Vietnam. So I'm wondering does that include Siterubix

Ok, so I've learned here ;-(

Well, I'm following you Kit-Wealthy:)

You better ;-)

I have a writer/contributer to one of my websires; I'm wondering if I should sync our profiles and what exactly does syncing do?

I've done this on two occasions when receiving tutoring or mentoring, and both people I trust completely with my details and password.
If you can trust the person completely, this can be a great thing.

If the person is a contributing writer, you should remain the admin though, and just add them as a user.

Hope this helps you....

Looks like something worth investigating!

Yes Michael,
I think that's a great idea. Because, when I sync my initial profile with my secondary profile I see my dashboard and my secondary profiles dashboard. If I sync with my contributors profile, I can see their dashboard too. Can they see mine as well? Is that a good idea? For a contributer to be able to see my dashboard? There's a lot of questions there. Will they have access to my work and vice versa? Etc. Is that a good thing or bad thing? If any. You know what I mean?

You can keep your post and pages password protected. I am not sure if that would keep visitors from seeing them?

Hmm. Ok... thank you Dan. I'm still trying to figure it out too. Lol

Can we request comments and feedback on websites that we created outside of the Wealthy Affiliate Network platform?

Or is the platform better used only for the websites

Wish I could help you out with this Linda. Hopefully someone will chime in with an answer.
Jerome

A website is just that with problems no matter where it's hosted!

Lol. Yep. Lol. I agree. :)

Yes you can, my site is not hosted here as I only found WA after I had started my site. You just have to post the links in the appropriate places.

Comments: Feedback: This is also a great blog about where you can post your links at in general: Hope this helps!
Grace

Thanks Grace, I appreciate thevery links. :)
