Things that happened because of Covid-19 Pandemic
A friend of mine has a father who has leukemia who was needing a blood transfusion, but due to Covid-19 he was undable to get the blood he needed in a timely fashion. I don't understand why that is, but as a result, he and his family had to decide whether to go on Hospice or wait for the blood in hopes of extending his life a little longer.
They made the decision for him to go on Hospice. With the blood he could live a little longer, but without it he will have about a week left to live. What a horrible decision to have to make.
This made me wonder about other people's experiences that we never hear about. People who do not have Covid-19, but their lives are impacted by it none-the-less. They, and their families, need to be remembered and we need to include them in our heartfelt prayers.
If you know of any non-Covid-19 experiences that have happened during the pandemic of 2020, and wouldn't mind sharing, please do so, so we might all send our positive energies through our combined prayers.
Prayers for Peace
Linda

Sad but true. What people do not see is that this pandemic is taking resources from others who need it. No one measure the death coming from the healthcare system’s inability to respond to the needs of others because it is consumed by Covid-19 cases.
Praying for your friend’s father. 🙏🏼
Thanks, Stanley. Sadly, he passed away within a couple weeks of his decision. I really like your wording "No one measure the death coming from the healthcare system’s inability to respond to the needs of others because it is consumed by Covid-19 cases." So, so true.
Thanks, Florentino. Unfortunately, he passed away only a few days ago. We do not realize how many have been impacted by this pandemic, and the lack of proper health care for everyone else.
My deepest condolence, Linda. Sorry to hear that. Quite shocking for me. I agree with you our health care has much to be desired.
Thanks, Lisa,
Unfortunately, he didn't make it. Prayers for the family will be much appreciated, I'm sure.

I too have heard tales like this. So sad. I wrote about my own experience, you can read it here: Thanks for the Memories .
What I did not say in the post was that being on lock down kept him from his one passion and this led to depression. Thank you for sharing Linda. My heart goes out to your friend and family.
