How to Have Success with Online Marketing
In my opinion how to have success with online marketing or the secret to being successful at Wealthy Affiliate is
- Follow the training step by step
- Write good content, and publish blogs
- Write good content, and publish articles
- Comment and like those who comment on your blogs and articles
- Then comment and like other people's blogs
It is my opinion we are being taught here at WA how the real world works with Google, Bing, and Yahoo. The ranking on Wealthy Affiliate resembles Googles ranking in that you are headed for #1. Don’t get me wrong, when you are #1 at Wealthy Affiliate, doesn’t mean you will be #1 on Google in everything you write, but you have a very good chance of it.
eMail Inbox Settings
Be sure to have your settings set for your emails from Wealthy Affiliate to come to your inbox, so you can read new blogs and see who is following you and liking your content. Then you can respond in kind, being honest in your comment.
I fell behind on welcoming in new followers and commenting on blogs when I wrote my hymn and dropped 400 points in rank. Then when I caught up with my comments and likes, wrote a blog and an article I regained ground in ranking with WA.
It is important to note that I haven't earned a dime yet, but it is thru the increased traffic that I'm getting that revenue will begin to trickle in.
Right now my WA rank has been my “measurement stick”. Everything in the paragraphs above is measured by your WA rank. If it keeps coming closer to -1- then you are on the right track towards online success.
Keep a Tally
You are trying to reach #1 0n page #1 on Google, Bing, and Yahoo. If you are #1 on Wealthy Affiliate then you will achieve #1 on Google, almost guaranteed. If Google changes it’s alga-rythmn then Kyle or Jay will have training to keep us up to the minute. I keep a daily tally of my WA rank and number of people following me. It's just a benchmark for me. Maybe it will work for you too.
This is paying off because in 6 months with Wealthy Affiliate my blogs and articles can be found in 6 different #1 spots on Google. What does it mean to be #1 on Google? It means when people type in your keyword in the search engine, they will see your blog or post in the #1 position
This blog is not meant to brag for I am far from successful. It is meant merely to help those who are struggling to achieve success in WA maybe understand it from another perspective.
Of course there are many many other things that go into online success so this is just the beginning of achieving your goal. Perhaps it is enough to make you realize you are on the right track, so don't stop.
I owe what success I have achieved thus-far to Kyle, Carson & Jay and of course TO all of you who have been so supportive and helpful in encouraging me to keep trying.

Great post Linda. Who doesn't like recognition for their hard work. It may be a while before any of us make significant income, so having some encouragement along the way helps keep us motivated.

You have linked "i wrote my hymn" that is fine but when taken to that post you have a link to your website within that post and that is not actually allowed in WA.
I wish you even more success for the next 6 months.

Apparently, you are learning what it takes to lower your rank here at WA. With a low 200 rank having been here nearly a year you are doing well too. Have you seen much income yet? Tell me your secrets to that! =)

Yes, when I first joined WA, I was reading all of the blogs and commenting on everything and my ranking went up. Since focusing just on the training and being with my family, I have not replied to many blogs or even posted any and my rankings have fallen. However for me to keep up with all of the blog posts and comments given on WA on a daily basis, I currently would get nothing else done.
So I read a few blogs comment on a few and my rankings are every so slowly going back up, but this is how it is for me at this stage.
