Loving Twitter progress
Do you remember the post about my new Twitter account and following its progress?
Well...... it is doing amazingly well. Yes I am working on it a bit more than I would normally I did some retweets in the evening when I remembered.
So 17th July was the date of the post and the amount of followers stood at 41. I started that account on the 14th July.
Today is the 20th July a Monday. So it has been nearly a week since that account came into being. Just setting it out for me as much as you.
This shows that if you work at it a bit on a regular basis you can grow your followers quite quickly.
This account as of this morning now has 111 followers.
Pretty good going I think.
Now do you think its worth taking time to do social media?

Each of those people have followers. Some only have a few, less than a hundred, others have several thousand and a handful of those have upwards of 250k.
I tweet from someone with that amount of followers means that a lot of people will see it at some point. If only a handful of those retweet it, then it goes to yet another wider audience.
Each retweet gives it a new and growing audience.
Some will click on it and go to look at the post. TRAFFIC.

I really like Twitter, it is my favourite social media site.
I have stuck to my own trade nd interest areas and it seems to pick up speed really well, and the more you post the quicker it grows.

Really doesn't take that much effort to grow it. Always good to go and retweet those with a big amount of followers but only if they are reasonably equal for 'followed and followers'. Then they will follow you and not unfollow when you follow back.
The thing is with such vast numbers they have a great variety of interests covered.
It's now at 119 followers. Yay!!
That's a worthy tip and one I wouldn't necessarily have though of. I'm more active on Twitter now than I have been but I could do with being more productively active.
I start off each morning by going to the Followers tab. I quickly open up the account of each new follower in a new tab. Then I go through each one checking what they tweet and share before following. I then retweet 2 of their tweets and check out things/people they have retweeted. I will retweet some of those and then move on to the next until they are all done. When you go back to 'Home' you will have tweets from your new followers appearing, plus things they retweet. Run through it, tweeting things you like the look of. Handy having diversity, especially at Christmas etc because you see gifts you can buy.
Retweet lots and each day you will have more followers.

Hope you get the same rapid rise in followers. Wont be on here much in the next 4 days but will catch up after.
Yes, that would be nice. I also have some new software to try out in this respect, when I get chance to actually use it.

Plus this is a wonderful achievement in under a week.
I'm actually off to find some training here about Twitter, as I feel I need a revamp.
