Believe in YOU!
Success often comes down to something as simple as believing in yourself.
Its like that old saying:
If you think you can, you are right.
If you think you can't you are right.
Its having a vision of what you want and totally believing you can do it.
Because you can. I believe in you. Do You?
If you tell yourself something often enough it becomes true.
We constantly reprimand ourselves for the things we do or become convinced we will fail.
Not surprising then when we do.
We each create our world with our thoughts, we become what we think. So think good things, praise yourself, admire good things about yourself.
What does the media say? You will be happy when..... you are thinner/taller/shorter/richer/have long hair/short hair/better skin/bigger car/house etc.
It is a selling point that people buy into. We hear and see it so often it has become a part of us to constantly strive to earn more to buy things that will help us achieve all of that. Just to be HAPPY!
Happiness really is an inside job. You decide what makes you happy, not something or someone outside of you. Another person cannot make you happy, just as things cannot.
YOU can make you happy.
Believe in yourself.
Think it sounds like nonsense? Are you sceptical? It is tough when you have believed something for so long.
Okay, how about limiting beliefs? How many times have you held back from doing something without knowing why? How often have you given up on something after investing a lot of time and money in it? Why does that happen?
All through our lives, but especially as children we take on board the words of others without realising it. Children sitting quietly playing, seemingly oblivious, hear what is said without really understanding it. Things like worrying about money, saying 'there is never enough to go round.' Discussing an unpleasant person who has money, saying such things as 'money is the root of all evil.'
This gets carried into adulthood. Then every time you get close to success the subconscious steps in and calls a halt so you don't become that awful person or because you believe it cannot happen. You can get rid of limiting beliefs, just as you can start believing in yourself.
Tell yourself you are successful in every area of your life, that you are happy, that you are wealthy and keep going until you believe it completely.
When you believe in YOU, the negative nellies have no effect on you. It is easy to smile and say 'whatever' because there opinion does not matter.
What others think about you is their concern. When people put you down it says more about them than you, they are often projecting their own insecurities and feelings outwards.
Be YOU. Stand tall and step forward into 2020 knowing that this is YOUR year. You can do this. Be happy because you can and you are, all the time....... well.... okay 99% of the time. We are human after all.
Go on then.... what are you waiting for? Get busy, this is your year to shine!!

This is a good motivational post. There are so many things from our past and in our present that push and pull, stop and start, point this way and that. You are right. We need to convince ourselves that we are on the right path. What others think is what they think. Thanks for this great post.

It is very easy to become discouraged when the going is tough. Having faith in ourselves makes such a difference.
