My website WAS published but it seems to have disappeared. Is there any reason for this?

Your website is there in the world wide web. It's hosted by SiteRubix. To logon Click on the Blue SiteRubix button on the left then Click on 'Site Manager'. When you see your website click on Login Now then Login Now. You'll get there. And when you do tell WordPress which page you want as your home page in Settings=> Reading. You will get there, just take it one step at a time. ~Marion

Thanks Marion, I know how to get into my site here although I didn't know about the homepage bit. However, what I'm trying to do is log onto my domain through Google as would my clients, and nothing is happening. I type in personalhomecareassistant.co.uk- nothing. Then www.personalhomecareassistant.co.uk - nothing.

It is there. How would I know it was on SiteRubix if I hadn't seen the favicon? Click on the link in your reply to me starting with www. and you'll see it. I figured you meant Google Chrome (not Google the search engine).☺ Logging on is just for you (WordPress), your readers will just see the website.

Excuse my lack of internet savvy! If a client telephones me and I give them my domain name over the phone - not by link. They will log on and get the same results that I'm getting- zilch. That is, I open my internet browser (Google), then type in the domain name on the top left corner. I have a site with Godaddy ( onetoonehomecare.com )which comes up straight away. I think I'm getting this round my neck. Sorry

Hi Su, i can get on the second one but not the first one and I am in South Africa.

Hi, I think that may be a little outside my area of operation.LOL

This is what I see when I type in http://personalhomecareassistant.co.uk

This is weird! If I click on your link it comes up immediately. If I copy it to my browser it doesn't. By the way my browser is just plain Google, not Chrome, does that make a difference?

Try a different browser. It seems like the one you are using has got stuck. Try Internet Explorer (YUK!), Chrome, Firefox and see if you can find your website.

Thank you so much. I downloaded Firefox and it works perfectly.

It is http:// not www.

What are you saying you can not log on or you just can not find it on Google. If it is google you need to keep adding great keywords and content to be noticed by the all great Google God. It will take a while to be noticed so hang in there.

No, I can't log on. My domain name is personalhomecareassistant.co.uk

try this copy and paste this into your search bar then hit the enter key.
personalhomecareassistant.co.uk/login

No, it doesn't come up

it does when I do it without the /login on the end

Thanks Tommy I've got it sorted now (pressed the search instead of little arrow!)

I received an email from these people saying they are the internet registry for .co.uk names. Do I need to take any action?

When you purchased your domain name it would have been automatically registered. I've had these emails, it's just people trying to get money from you, ignore it!

You should be registered through the company you bought your domain name check your account with them to make sure. These companies that email you is just trying to make extra money off of you. But yes you do need to be registered with Nominet it is a whois registrar with the UK

Who is nominet and do I need to register wityh them?

From what I have seen the majority of members promote self-help or instructive information. I can't find any which provides a service such as hairdressers; chiropodists; tree s

You can promote whatever you like, by no means is the majority of folks in the self help industry. Quite the contrary.

The training here will show you how to promote within any niche. If you have a local business or you want to get local rankings, I highly suggest you do a search for local marketing training (after you go through the main training and learn the fundamentals).

There are lots of classes on this subject that will be highly beneficial and take anyone from a newbie to an expert. You can find all of the past Live Classes here and make sure you sit in every Friday for the latest Live Class.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/webinar

if you decide to no longer work with WA your site will stay active for 30 days. After that you will need to move it to another host if you want it to stay live.

If you wanted to provide a service then you can.. One of the services I offer to my local market is social media management, SEO services and web design..

From one of the tutorials I have understood that you should choose a theme as "clean" as possible (e.g. with a white background and black characters) in order for your audience not to be overwhelmed....Hope this helps! Im sure you will find the right one :)

Find some websites that you like the look of and then you can check if it's a Wordpress theme and which one by using this. :) http://whatwpthemeisthat.com/

So, I've only joined this site 3.5 hours ago! But let me expand on my question. Without any previous experience I created a 4 page website with Godaddy last February for my wif

I use the keyword tool for my HubPages. They needed some new keyword ideas.

Yes you can use the knowledge you learn here on what ever you want.

You can apply all the training here to your website yes. :)

Oh, and Welcome to WA. x

Hello Chris
The quick answer is YES.
You can go back over your content and make it SEO friendly and updating any information.
Personally I don't think you need to start again.
BTW, you are most certainly not stupid and there are no stupid questions here. So ask away:)

Can I use the seo lesson on an existing website ?
