WA Affiliate Program
Updated

I am wondering if anyone has tested which page is the best on Wealthy Affiliate to drive your clicks back to? I have only been here 4 weeks and just set up my Google analytics

Hi Linaful, I think 'Drawshot' offered a very good suggestion. I've just started my WA site, I have already done a site in my own niche but now going through the Bootcamp training so I have no data yet to back me up.

As far as I can tell by looking at what Carson and Kyle have done on their sites - they link to the page your 'main affiliate link' takes you to - the intro video and the sign up next to it.

I'd be interested to hear you get on, for purely selfish reasons of course! Please keep us updated! : )

I don't think that you can say that any one page on your website is better than another. The reason is like the definition of luck. Luck is when good timing and preparation come together. All you can do is write the best content you can, and do everything you can to put that website, which is loaded with good content in it, in front of the person who is looking for it.

Hi Linda, I've not started trying to develop sales here at WA yet, but might be able to provide some insight. Any time you are trying to make an affiliate sale, it is best if you can pre-sale whatever it is that you are promoting. Having an article that makes the interest and desire stronger is always better then sending someone in cold. The main idea is try to figure out what your reader needs, and show how WA can do that for them. If you're writing quality content, and its bringing in traffic to your site, you might try this. Whatever the keywords are that you used for your article, try using them in the search bar at the top of this page. Find a good article in the list that will pop up, and then add the affiliate link for it to the bottom of your article. Preface it, or title it with something like, " For more great information on this subject click here." Hope this helps a bit. Best wishes on your endeavors.

That is a great idea. Thank you.

Great advice! I think I might try this also! Thanks

Hello Linda,

Jay from Magistudios just released a video course on Google Analytics that I highly recommend.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/beginner-s-guide-to-google-analytics

The only criticism I can level at the video is the overwhelming amount of information presented, thus requiring several views.

To Our Success Online,
Jonicas

Thank you for reminding me about that training. I will see if that has what I need.

There are some YouTube videos that help with this. If you don't quite understand one of the videos then look at a different one. It worked for me. Good luck.

Thank you. I have watched a You Tube video - I will search for a better one.

I thought it would be a good idea to add a list of 50 ideas to increase traffic to your site. However, the list just looks long and not engaging. Do you have ways that you add

Hi... the page is not working today. Is anyone else having difficulty seeing it? I am not sure as to what "lists" are being discussed...
~GingLab

I'm a fan of them as a reader online. If the subject is a wide one and I am trying to learn, it breaks the information down. That looks really slick by the way

Hi, I am trying some lists on my site, I used the "next page" and used white space, headers and bullets to break up the information.

There was a blog somewhere that also had this, but now I can't find it :-( but Dom's training is awesome

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/ultimate-tinymce-plugin-the-ultimate-training/next-page-button

Breaking them up would definitely help your readers digest all the information.

Hope this helps ;-)

Thank you. I just went through and added the "next page" code. I was a little nervous because I do not know HTML. On the view page I put a whole bunch of XXXXXXX so that when I went to the HTML I could find the spot. I just pasted the code over the xxxxxx and it worked great. I am so grateful for all the responses. It may be a small HTML thing, but it was a huge accomplishment for me to get over the fear of it! The page(s) look much better.
Thank you everyone for the support and suggestions!

Thanks terenzia! When would you use it?

You can add <!--nextpage--> within the HTML section of the page.

wots a pagebreaker?

Hi Steve,

It is a plugin with properties that allow big texts splitted to pages. See the website here http://rtfm.modx.com/extras/revo/pagebreaker

hi linda! wow, your site is crisp and clean! and i have to be honest, having read it, i now feel my site is languishing in a corner covered in cobwebs! To return to the query, i believe answering a need is the answer to ranking, it is relevant to to the question i.e How do i get traffic? no idea of what im talking about really but great site! take care and good luck!

Hello, I see what you mean. Looks like a tonne of great info on there though! You now have you're first e-book, either free for subscribers or you could charge for it if you expand on those 50 ways just a little more for it! Well done.

I don't have the exact answer for you.. I am having the same problem, and about to generate a discussion for it. The only thing I can suggest in your case is perhaps using the page breaker option, so that people can read a few of them, have all the visuals, and then ''turn the page'' for the next set and so on. This would stop it from being just one long list, and breaks it up quite a bit for your readers. What do you think?

The other suggestion is dependent on traffic. If you already have high traffic to your website, yo could break this section up into weekly installments, giving them more impetus to re-visit you, and that way you also have something to email them about, to remind them the next installment is coming.

Let's see what others suggest.

Thank you for your great suggestions. I just started building the site this week so I do not have any traffic. I really like the page breaker idea. I will try and figure out how to do that. I really appreciate that you took the time to look at it and give me some great ideas.

No problem. I only discovered the page breaker myself a few days ago. I think I first came across it with Dom's TinyMCE plugin training, but then I saw it mentioned elsewhere with a a lovely example, might have been one of Jay's wabbys. I'm sure there'll be useful info on it and where to find it if you search it here in WA. Best of luck!

You should defo do the e-book!! :)
