Course 3, Lesson 8 Kyle says add advertising to pages. And add advertising and affiliates to another page. I don't understand how to do that and it's had me hung up for almost
say..Amazon, WA, or some company out there sent you a block of code and and an image to place in your page...
You copy and paste it in a spot you choose, , but look for that spot in text mode. J\Kyle has a video there in. the training.
JAHBOBCLATO,
Not affiliate links, but Google AdSense links. I only know how to place them in my sidebar or footer. Can you help me with that?
Thank you in advance
Kyle has it covered in Course 3, Lesson 4. If you get stuck again go back over the lessons you've already done. Sometimes revision helps things stick to the brain :)
Marion,
That's not what I needed, I need to know how to add advertising like Google AdSense on each page or post.
I have the affiliate links covered. They are all over my site.
Thank you

- purchased a USB headset
- it does not fit the slot , hangs a little
- error message: NO Audio Output Device is installed
- How do I fix that?
Have you checked in the device manager, in the sound options if the sound driver is properly installed. , If no Uninstall it and Restart you computer, it can solve the problem.
try the following :
Through the device manager.
1. Check if there is an warning or yellow sign for the sound driver. if it is there then right click and update it .
2. if the problem persists uninstall it and restart you computer.
3. install it manually by right cilicking it and locate the sound driver.
let me know. if it is resolved.
Try inserting in another slot, are you using a laptop or pc. Also check if the driver is installed for the device.
I've done that ( inserting in another slot on my laptop). As far as drivers, it's plug n play. How can i check for the drivers?

When you go to a members site and like it, how can you save that page to go back to it again.?
What the others said, but what I also have is a folder within my bookmarks called WA Member Sites. Depending on which browser you use, do a Google search "How to organise bookmarks in Chrome(or your browser)", there'll be plenty of helpful articles.
it really depends on the browser you are using. there will be some kind of bookmarking function near the address bar
Depends on the browser you're using, but on Mozilla Firefox, you click on the star icon in the upper right corner of the page. Same as you would to bookmark ANY site you want to be able to go back to with ease.

I can find my content for a post that took me half the day to write. What could have happened to it? It has dissapeared.
Something similar to this happen to me recently. I click to publish an article and it stalled and I waited wondering why it had stuck. When it was ready it asked if I'm sure I want to do this so naturally I click yes. BOOM! it showed me an empty post but fortunately, a statement appeared at the very top mentioning another auto-saved post so I clicked that and it turned out to be my post. If yours was not a system error like that and you did delete it by mistake, it would show in your dashboard. Go to pages or post and look for a tab called trash at the top next to published. If the tab is there it contains something, if you don't see it then you have no trash. Sorry about the disappointment, don't be discouraged
Elliedan,
I was frustrated, somehow I could see anything of the new information in my content, the back button didn't work , nor backspace nor revisions. Nothing was working for me. So I eventually, had to bite the bullet and reconstruct the entire article.
I was dreading it but much to my surprise, it only took a few hours and I was done!
If you like, you can take a look at what caused me to stay up all night and half a day composing here. http://breathefreelyagain.com/3-breathing-techniques-that-help-control-asthma
What do you think? Was it worth it? Objective criticism is always welcome.
The layout and info looks good. I cant comment on the contest as I know nothing of that field, but I think you are doing a great job so far
Some lessons are more difficult than others, are they not. I have been able to find what I have written, in drafts as suggested below. i am sorry you had to redo this piece of information. However it looks great to me.

Padrepio68,
I had to write the article all over again in its entirety. Please take a look and tell me what you think?

Hey Linda, do you mean that it's not inside your visual editor, but you can see it in your text editor?
Log in to your website, go to your Dashboard>Posts>All Posts. After you click " All Posts ", you can view all the posts you've written. On top of the page check if there is " Trash ", check if your post is there.
Have you checked the list of posts? Did you save it? Can you elaborate what really happened?

Can you write a post in the beginning stages of your site then add affiliate links at a later stage?
There is a debate about this you can add links later when your pages and psots are getting higher ranks and you have built up organic traffic. Some say this is best. If they are links from posts to pages in your own site then i would add these straight away, external links can be done later
Thank you BeauAndNik for answering my question. Now another for ya....have you ever done that when you first started your site? Tell me how you progressed after that since you are already making money.
i added lots of content before i started adding affiliate links... Once i had a good amount of traffic flowing through I added the links.
I just continued to add more content and improve the content i had already published.

I agree with Marion, go back over Kyles' lesson, he explains it better than I could.
