How do you get people to stay? You don't. Your job as a leader is to have the eyes of a leader. Leaders' heads are higher than the crowd's. Therefore you can identify other leaders who want to take charge of their lives. Don't fret, just keep referring.
Have you written your welcome and follow up email? That is you chance to give your words to them.
Offer your mentorship, make it easy for them to find you to ask questions etc
Definitely do not take it personally or you might not last long working online. Getting referrals is a numbers game and the numbers who will sign up on your capture page and actually follow through and sign up fully are usually under the 1% mark. You need a thick skin sometimes.
Just continue to put your link out there and get traffic to your website.
You will get people signing up, occasionally one will go all in and they are golden. It is said that people need to be exposed to something 7 times before they sign up. This is why following up with your leads is important. It can be frustrating but not everyone is an action taker like you obviously are Lifefighter. It is people like you who will succeed. Treat it as a business and it will be easier on you as a person. You're doing great :)

Where the referrals come from will decide weather they sign up or not its called "buyer traffic"
Many people think that affiliate marketing is about putting links out there, it is not, what affiliate marketing is about is finding a hungry crowd that are desperate for what you are offering
If you want to sell hamburgers you need to find a hungry crowd, so go find your hungry crowd

You don't. You go out and get more to sign up. We are limited to communicating with them even if we could... other then our text messages we have to send them every few days automatically there is no way to sit down and talk to them.
Nope. You don't scare people! :) Affiliate Marketing does that by itself. And the thought of having to learn all of this! I've had 39 referrals in the last 5 months and none joined. Do you have your messages set up so when they sign up you can reach out to them?
With everything going right, and if you are Kyle, you can get one in 10 referrals to sign up and join and become a members. But we aren't the owners of the program, right? So it is more like one in thirty if you ask me.
The only member I had join dared me to show him that it could be possible to make money here. He joined to prove me wrong. And, prove me wrong he did, for the fist 3 months! He made nothing.
You are not taking it personal as it is a numbers game only. The member that joined under me came from a online free ad I put in, with a link to one of my sites. So. Now that I am dependent on search engines, I have no traffic and get no referrals. No body clicking on my site stops everything in its tracks.
I'm sure no one told you that every one of the thousand details that we implement here have to be perfect or...we are subject to lose visitors by the hundreds even thousands. As there are members here getting that kind of traffic and not converting! And, we cannot afford to have anything wrong, if we only get ten or so a month that are interested. So. there you go.
I hope I have helped you to understand that, we have to continue to work and make changes, and adapt. Just creating as site and calling it good, is never enough in the affiliate marketing business.
Getting traffic is a full time job. Promoting WA is a full time job. Making a sale by converting a referral....that's almost a lottery.
There is no answer to referrals not getting involved except that lack the time, the desire, the long hard hours of maybe they will become successful, or not, the risk, the out of pocket cost, and a dozen or two more factors built in along side these.
If I had known I would be here five months from now spending 50 dollars a month and making 22.50 from the one member, I would have not signed up!

Right now I'm only using WA promoting websites for one year. It's basically a test to see if Kyle and Carson are telling the truth about making money. At the end of the year I'm starting two product review sites. This I will work for one year also. For the same reason. A test.
I know people can Make a few dollars off Adsense and chump change year after year using different techniques. But I'm wanting to make a full time revenue with part time effort. That is my goal. I've spent 50 thousand dollars over my life time trying to make money online. In many different areas. I spend 1000 each month here trying to increase my chances and have spent 5k to no avail so far.
I'm not trying to deter you. I'm just stating facts that have to do with me.
I'm not here to make a few bucks. I'm here to learn how to make much more. So I have a 5 year plan of testing markets, programs, and products.
ok, that makes sense to me. For me, at this time every penny counts. Thank you so much for sharing your point of view. No deterrence at all
Hi Nakeesha - Well done on your referrals. That's a great start. Don't worry about having frightened anyone - you won't have and it's nothing personal. You will get lots of referrals who just come out of curiosity and then find very quickly it's not for them.
Make sure that you have filled out a good welcome message when they join, and do a follow up one as well. You can't force people to stay. Also make sure that you're site gives them some good information about what they will get here (before they try)

It means someone has clicked on one of your affiliate links and joined the free starter program. If they follow through and fill out their profile you would make a dollar if you are premium. If they go premium you will get a commission each month
