It seems the WP video training is limited to bare bones themes. Where do we get training on how to edit the look and structure of WP pages?
Tom I have some complete videos of mechanics on certain WP themes. What theme are you using? WP Made Easy
Many thanks. I'll check out your vids. I've been trying to get rid of the sidebar in Mantra and Iconic One. I want a sidebar on all pages, but not on the home page.
I am not familiar with the mechanics of those themes. Are you trying to make a choice between the two?
Not necessarily. I just want a front page that looks sort of like the two, but without the sidebar. I suppose I just need to sort through the theme library some more until I find one. Thanks for the feedback.
The way your website looks is determined by the theme you choose. If you want it to look different then you can try a different theme. There are thousands to choose from. Choose a New Theme
The only real major change is the template you can pick Tom, but there are things you can accessorize with on WP sites such as editing the header, footer and side widgets and WA has training here for all of this.
