I have keywords that have exactly 0 competition but 10,000 searches, is this just a fault in the system or will I rank highly?

Regar

Sounds goofy, I've had that happen as well. But use it - definitely not going to be wrong or bad if you do.

You can re-check the search info later and see if there is a change, that's what I did for one term and it seemed to be more realistic with the new results

Yeah good point, i'm writing up a bit of the article now before i sleep and then i'll finish it in the morning. No harm done either way it'll be a good article to write about, even if the competition is high it's still practice on writing articles and practice makes perfect.

Regards :)

You might be onto something big if that's the case! Similar results on jaxxy provides a counter reference, so give it a shot!

Jaaxy and the WA keyword tool are the same database i believe, the WA one just doesnt come with all the bells and whistles

Which keyword tool are you using? Something sounds funny.

The WA keyword tool, something just doesn't sound right does it.

no it doesn't . What is your search term I will try it if you like.

oh ya I don't even need to try it . There is or was a glitch.

OK I stand corrected just tried it in Jaaxy and came up with the same result

I would do the same thing it wouldn't work with drones tho. :))

Is the competition feature faulty or is this the real deal?

I'm currently on a sub-domain and can't get indexed in SEO to promote WA, so i'd like to change my domain but the ideal domain is "

I discovered the same thing with one of my websites created here too Liam.

However, once I transferred to my own domain, using Marion Black's advice posted here: that AWESOME plugin FIXED my URLs on my website's pages and posts to match what I ended up having to use to register my new domain name.

Boy was I a happy camper! :-))

Hope this proves helpful.

Trish

Hi Liam,
I guess you could use revenue-reaper.com, but I think if you were to tell someone your website address, they may not necessarily remember to insert the hyphen. Perhaps you should try a variation, like reaperofrevenue, or revenuereap.com.... Hope this helps,
Deidre

Yeah that's also what I was thinking that they'd forget the hyphen, thanks for the suggestions though i'm going to give it some thought today and try come up with a compelling name.

Regards,

Liam
